5 Things You NEED to Succeed with Phentermine

5 Things You NEED to Succeed with Phentermine

While phentermine has helped many people to lose weight, it’s important to recognize that phentermine is not a miracle pill, but rather a kick-start to give you the help you need to succeed.

In addition to your phentermine prescription, your success depends on a lot of hard work from you, so here we run through what else you need to achieve long-lasting success with phentermine.

1. Healthy Diet

Phentermine helps to suppress appetite, but it’s important to make sure that you use this opportunity to establish a healthy diet.

While you may prefer one diet over another, the essentials of any good diet should be to encourage you to eat clean foods, such as fruit and vegetables, lean protein, whole wheat grains, and healthy fats.

Eating smaller meals throughout the day can help to control your appetite by keeping your blood sugar level and ensuring that your metabolism is working at its most efficient level.

Throughout the day, you should aim for a minimum calorie intake of 1,200 calories and avoid fad diets that involve eating an insufficient amount of calories.

Not eating enough will slow down your metabolism and result in weight gain following the end of your prescription, which is one of the common withdrawal symptoms of phentermine.

2. Moderate Exercise

While changing your eating habits can be difficult, embarking on an exercise routine for what may be the first time ever can be even more challenging for most phentermine users.

But it doesn’t have to be so daunting! Here at Phentermine.com, we stress the importance of adding activity to your lifestyle and how doing any type of exercise activity will always benefit the body, so forget those ‘all or nothing ideas and just concentrate on doing what you can.

Challenging the body with new movements helps you to take advantage of the energy boost you get from phentermine and also gives you more energy in return, as well as a great mood boost and additional weight-loss potential.

However, you need to be motivated to want to continue exercising to ensure the weight you’ve lost remains lost, which is why the key to a healthy, active lifestyle is finding an exercise you love.

3. Support

While you’re putting your all into your weight loss journey by eating healthily and starting to get active, it’s important to have a great support network behind you to keep you going when times get tough.

Many phentermine users report not feeling great due to mood changes and the stresses of dieting, which can be discouraging and demotivating.

Hence, it’s really helpful to have support from your friends and family.

However, if you’re keeping phentermine a secret from those around you or not getting as much support as you would like, then you will find many people in the same position as you on our Phentermine.com support group on Facebook, where you can introduce yourself as a new member and start sharing your problems, stories and successes without fear of judgment.

4. Health-Boosting Multivitamin

Health-Boosting Multivitamin

While weight loss has always been seen as a means to getting healthier, what’s now very clear is that you need to be healthy to lose weight in the first place.

Long gone are the ideas that weight loss is a case of burning more calories than you consume.

Your body needs a multitude of vitamins and minerals to operate efficiently, and without efficiency, weight loss is not a priority for your body if it is having to function without these crucial nutrients.

It can, however, be difficult to meet all your recommended daily allowances for these nutrients when you’re counting calories, so this is when a great multivitamin can really help.

A good multivitamin should also include ingredients such as the energy-boosting vitamin B12 and the serotonin pre-cursor 5-HTP, which helps to regulate mood and sleep patterns, and is a naturally occurring appetite suppressant, which therefore helps to resolve the side effects of phentermine, such as a low mood and insomnia, meaning you feel great while you’re losing weight!

5. Motivation and Inspiration

You have everything planned out, including your phentermine prescription, a great diet and exercise regime, great support from friends and family, and a health-boosting multivitamin to keep your body working at its peak, but at the center of your weight loss journey is you and your motivation to succeed.

Motivation can come and go, so it’s important to keep on top of it, ensuring that you stay inspired and keep positive, even when the numbers on the scale might not be going your way.

Motivation and inspiration can come in many different forms, and what works for one may not work for another, so the key is to find exactly what keeps you going.

Challenge yourself, plan out non-food-based rewards, share your successes and slip-ups with those who are rooting for you, create an inspiration board, watch inspiring videos of people who have accomplished their goals, and design spreadsheets charting your progress…whatever you do, just make sure you never stop believing in yourself!

It can seem that once you have your phentermine prescription, you have everything you need to succeed. However, in reality, phentermine is just one of the ingredients of a successful weight loss journey.

Without these other important factors, any success you may have with phentermine alone will be difficult to achieve and, most likely, short-lived.

Furthermore, for many of you, phentermine may not provide you with the results you had hoped for, or your prescription may come to an end before you reach your goals, which is where a weight loss supplement can help to make all the pieces fall into place and ensure that you achieve weight loss success and maintain it in the long term.

  1. Just to keep you up to date, I lost weight using Phentermine under a wonderful clinician’s care and reduced my weight from 185 (actually had been as high as 195) to 170. I took a three month break because of the jitters and I wanted to stabilize my weight and see if I could maintain without going crazy. It has worked well, I am now going to Stage II, and will lose another 10 pounds during the hot months when my appetite is usually suppressed from the heat anyway. Long term; I don’t crave sweets at all, hate the taste of them now. Bread and potatoes taste sweet to me now. Funny how that can change for you. I drink only tea and water (and occasionally wine). Salads are a constant, I don’t eat but once a day, with high protein drinks to maintain my muscle mass. I don’t have that old “high” energy you get from carbs, but I am able to go all day with out crashing. love the plan, everyone is different; however a high protein, low carb diet works well for me.

  2. I HAD PHENTERMINE BEFORE AND IT DID IT’S JOB, I LOST 13 LBS, FELT GREAT. HAD A SET BACK, GOT VERY ILL AND THE DOCTOR PUT ME ON SOME MEDICATION THAT MADE ME GAIN ALL THE WEIGHT BACK. BOUGHT THESE PILLS ONLINE, 1ST THE NAME ON THE BOTTLE IS PHENTARMINE? I HAVEN’T SEEN ANY RESULTS IT’S BEEN ABOUT A MONTH. I’M HEATING HEALTHY, CUT OUT THE SUGAR AND CAFFEINE AND STILL NO RESULTS, I’M GOING TO FINISH THE BOTTLE BUT NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!!

  3. I just started taking phen on saturday, prescribed by my doctor. I had a headache Saturday evening and then again on Sunday. I woke up with the same headache. I recall my doc saying to let her know if I get headaches and to call if I do. Well her office doesn’t open for another few hours so I’m going to wait to take my 3rd day pill. My hubby thinks I’m dehydrated which I may be but as of last night I’ve been drinking more water. Has anyone else experienced headaches when they first started? Any advice?

    1. Hey Sandy, your husband may be right – remember you should be drinking at least 2 liters a day, but make sure that this is a steady amount throughout the day so that you never get dehydrated. Headaches are a common side effect of phentermine but you shouldn’t have to suffer; we recommend a multivitamin called Phen Vites.

      Hope that helps!

  4. Hi there, it can be frustrating but often the last 10-15lbs are the hardest to lose. Everyone reacts differently to phentermine due to the individual differences between people, including age, weight, medical history etc. Side effects like feeling jittery don’t indicate that the medication is working better, just that this is how your body reacts to the effects. If you’re keen to lose that last 7 or 8lbs we recommend Phen Caps – https://www.phen.com/products?utm_source=phentermine-blog&utm_medium=reply&utm_campaign=order_now which will also curb your appetite and give you energy but without any danger of the side effects that many people experience with phentermine. Good luck!!

  5. I have been on the pill for 2 weeks now. I have been trying to keep a 1200 calorie diet, but sometimes fall 200 calories behind. I went this week to the doctor for blood pressure and weight check. I have lost 10 lbs, but my bottom number blood pressure is between 90-92 so they are worried. They will check me again in 2 more weeks and decide wether or not to keep me on it. I have no symptoms besides feeling energized and full. I do have to get a multi vitamin and hopefully that will help. I don’t want to be taken off the pill it is working and given me new insight to my eating ways.

  6. I am older with absolutely no health problems. At 61 yrs, female, 5-11 and 185 lbs. I want to lose some weight along with my husband who will be going under a doctor’s care with Phentermine. What would be a reasonable dosage for me? How do I start this diet correctly? I was under 140 lbs. for most of my life and would like to weigh around 150.

    Thanks

    1. Hi there, Thanks for the comment!

Congrats to you and your husband on starting your weight loss regime, that’s a brave step! Unfortunately, we can not recommend a dosage for you, as this should only be suggested to you by your doctor. Make sure you conuslt your doctor and let them know you want to try phentermine for weight loss, and they can assess whether it is suitable for you or not.

Aside from that, I can recommend you and your husband join our weight loss support group, our users discuss all different topics on weight loss with phentermine and also give great support to each other. You can sign up here.

In regards to diet, I can refer you to one of our blog articles, 7 healthy meals to eat while taking phentermine. You can also find great diet advice in our support group 🙂

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!

      1. I just completed a 30 day dose of the pill @ 37 mg and as it may have curved my apetite somewhat, Seeking to lose the last 10 to 15’lbs but I did not lose more than about 7lbs and I’m so tired of trying after years of effort. Finally referred to this pill by someone who lost and also felt the jitters etc… I never felt anything. Should I seek the Brand name instead of the Generic?

        Thanks
        Danita

      2. Thanks Sally,
I have lost 7 lbs. in 2 weeks and it was pretty easy . I am under a Drs. care a Health Clinic called “Up2Par” . I do not take their full dosage and it seems to work better for me as the phentermine made me too jittery and I lost sleep.

Two protein shakes during the day, a good 4 oz. meat and lots of leafy vegetables work great. I do not have a sweet tooth at all, used to love the savory foods which included carbs (comfort food). My goal after achieving my weight is to stabilize my diet to include about 45 grams of carbs daily and keep up with the veggies. Love the veggies! Sometimes a mental thing to keep telling yourself what is need is what you want! 🙂

Thank you for your advice and I’ll record my progress here.

  7. I have been on the pill for a week now and the doctor told me to start off with a half, well I still get hungry. I have been eating right, I dont know what to do can you give me some suggestions.

    1. Hi there Joy, Thanks for the comment,
When it comes to how often you take your medication, you always need to consult your doctor, as they know best what is right for you. Otherwise, you can check out our Facebook support group, where you can find tons of advice, tips and support from other phentermine users!

I hope this helps, let me know if you anything else, I am happy to help!

    2. if your still hungry try ginger root. peel and cut about 5-6 mid size slices. fill a pot with water and boil the ginger until the water turns a yellow color. add a tsp – Tbsp. of honey decreasing as you get use to the strong taste of the ginger. Ginger is a natural appetite surppressent without the side effects of not eating like the gitters. It also helps to add more protien into your diet to make you feel full longer and helps with muscle recovery when working out espeically with weights.
hope this helps. Good luck on your journey.
