Terfamex Reviews [2019]

Terfamex is a Mexican brand of phentermine pills. It is currently available in three doses (15mg, 30mg and 37mg) and two forms (capsule and orally disintegrating tablet).

Terfamex is manufactured and distributed by Medix S.A. and available in Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia, Panama and Argentina (1).

The active ingredient is phentermine hydrochloride (phentermine HCL): a central nervous system stimulant that acts to suppress appetite, boost energy and speed-up fat burning.

However, due to this drug’s powerful effects, phentermine is a class IV controlled substance and only available under a doctor’s prescription. Terfamex, like all other brands of phentermine, should be used as a short-term treatment for exogenous obesity and is usually only taken for a few weeks at a time ( 2 ).

Terfamex provides a unique opportunity for patients who have trouble swallowing pills given that it is also available as an ODT (1,3).

Terfamex is made in Mexico and sold in various Latin American countries. It comes as both tablets and orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs), and it available in three different doses. However, some people do not like the ODT's flavor and - like other brands of phentermine - it can cause various unpleasant side effects.
