Lomaira® is the lowest dose of phentermine weight loss pills. Each pills contains a just an 8mg dose of phentermine HCL and tablets can be taken up to three times per day. It is manufactured and distributed by KVK Tech ( 1 ).

Generic phentermine 15mg is widely-available in the USA. Capsules are typically yellow and gray with a black imprint. The most popular imprint is “K 26”, which means that the pills are from Sandoz, the leading manufacturer of generic phentermine.

Duromine® 15mg is sold in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It is a light green/teal and gray capsule with the imprint, “DUROMINE 15”. These capsules are manufactured and distributed by iNova Pharmaceuticals ( 3 , 4 ).

Axcion® 15mg is a brand name preparation of phentermine that is sold in Mexico. It’s available both as a white, oblong tablet (pictured to the left) and as a capsule. The pills are manufactured and distributed by IFA Celtics.

Terfamex® 15mg is a Latin American brand of phentermine sold in Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia, Panama, and Argentina. Terfamex 15mg pills are available as both capsules (left) and orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs). These pills were developed by KVK-TECH but are now manufactured by Medix S.A (6).

Sentis® 18.75mg capsules are sold primarily in Chile. They are light blue and white capsules, and 18.75 is the lower of the two Sentis-brand pills. Sentis is manufactured by Laboratorios Chile ( 7 ).

Phentermine 30mg is a moderate dose of phentermine. It is available both as a generic and brand name capsule. The generic pills shown to the left are sold in the US and made by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. ( 2 ).

This is another example of common generic phentermine 30mg capsules. The pills are blue and white with the imprint, “LANNETT 1308” and manufactured by Lannett Company, Inc. ( 2 ).

Duromine® 30mg is a brand of phentermine 30mg that is sold in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It is a reddish-brown and gray capsule imprinted with “DUROMINE 30” in white ink. This medication is manufactured by iNova Pharmaceuticals ( 3 , 4 ).

Acxion® 30mg is a Mexican brand of phentermine weight loss pills. The 30mg dose is available as both capsules and tablets (pictured left). The tablets are white, oblong, scored tablets with the imprint “A 159”. They are manufactured by IFA Celtics in Mexico (5).

Terfamex® 30mg is a brand of phentermine sold in Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Colombia, Panama, and Argentina. Terfamex capsules are white and red with a black imprint. They are manufactured by Medix S.A. (6).

Phentermine 37.5mg is the most popular, and highest-available, dose in the United States and Latin America. The generic phentermine 37.5 capsule to the left is supplied by KVK Tech Inc. and available in the United States. It is blue and white with the text “K 29 | K 29” in black ink ( 2 ).

Some people prefer tablets over capsules because tabs are easily split and often cheaper. Generic phentermine 37.5mg tablets (left) are white, elliptical and scored with the imprint “K 25” across the middle line. Phentermine tablets are the well-known “white pill with blue specks for weight loss. ” The pill pictured here is manufactured by KVK Tech Inc. and sold in the US ( 2 ).

Adipex-P® is the most well-known brand of phentermine in the United States. The capsules contain a 37.5mg dose of phentermine. They are light blue and white, with “ADIPEX 37.5” in black ink on the blue half and two parallel, black lines on the white half. Adipex is made by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. ( 8 ).

Adipex-P® is also available as 37.5mg tablets. The tablets are white, oblong, scored tablets with dark blue specks. They have the imprint “9 9” on the scored side and “ADIPEX” on the smooth side. Adipex tablets are made and distributed by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. ( 8 ).

Sentis® 37.5mg capsules are a popular prescription weight loss option in Chile. Unfortunately, there are a lot of counterfeit Sentis pills, so take time to inspect your pills for authenticity. Real Sentis pills are light blue & white capsules sold in a blister pack marked with the Laboratorio Chile logo ( 7 ).

Terfamex® 37.5mg is the highest dose of phentermine produced by this manufacturer. It’s an orally disintegrating tablet (ODT) this is sold in Mexico and several other Latin American countries. An ODT is ideal for patients who have trouble swallowing pills whole. Terfamex is manufactured and distributed by Medix S.A. (6).

Duromine® 40mg is a gray and orange capsule marked with the imprint “DUROMINE 40” in black ink. This is the highest dose of phentermine prescribed globally and only available in select countries. Duromine is manufactured by iNova Pharmaceuticals ( 3 , 4 ).

Qsymia® is the only FDA-approved medication that combines phentermine HCL and another drug in one pill. Approved by the FDA in 2012, Qsymia contains both phentermine hydrochloride and topiramate extended-release (a.k.a. Topamax). The mixture of these two medicines suppresses appetite, controls cravings and boosts energy to facilitate weight loss. Qsymia comes in 4 progressive doses and is manufactured by VIVUS, Inc. ( 9 ).
