172 pounds

"I started putting on weight when I came to this country 9 years ago. I was 17 "fresh of the boat" everything was new to me. I wanted to try different types of food: pizza, Chinese, Japanese, Korean. I wanted to try everything! From 120 pounds I quickly packed up to 180.
I tried dieting by myself before I would lose 10-20 pounds and gain twice as much... it was my doctor that suggested to try phentermine, that was on June 10th 2016.
I decided to give it a try, I was anxious as I read so much about great results from other people, the first few days were difficult. So far I've lost 21 pounds. I went from 193 to 172. I still have a long way to go as my goal weight is to be healthy 140 pounds at my 55 height. I was always conscious about my appearance but once I started taking phentermine my life became different.

The before and after pictures say it all. I didn't only lose pounds, I lost inches, my old clothes don't fit me anymore and this is a small accomplishment that I am proud of.

I no longer carry those extra 23 pounds on me 24/7. (I lost 3 more pounds this week) my collar bones became more prominent, my clothing doesn't fit me anymore and I sure am not complaining about that. I am excited to see the final result. it's the small accomplishments that matter. I believe I can get to my goal weight of 140lbs in about 3 more months. Taking phentermine is not an easy way out you still have to work hard. This was a kick start for me to become a better version of me."

A new lifestyle
What is the deciding factor that made you decide to change your lifestyle?
It was when I went to the doctor for a check up and I stepped on a scale and saw whooping 193 pounds, this was the heaviest I have ever been.
What was the most difficult adjustment to your new lifestyle?
I had to force myself to eat, but after 4 days I got used to it and had so much energy to work out and make healthy food choices. It's like something clicked in my brain that I no longer wanted to eat unhealthy food.
What is the most rewarding part of your new lifestyle?
The most rewarding part of my new lifestyle is to be able to love myself again and not be embarrassed of how I look in pictures. Taking phentermine is not an easy way out you still have to work hard. This was a kick start for me to become a better version of me. Also, that my back no longer hurts from carrying all that unnecessary weight, my varicose veins became less visible too.
Do you have any words of advice for the community?
Word of advice. If I can do it so can you! There is no magic pill but this is as close to it as it gets. I am not ashamed to say that I take phentermine, I promote it! People notice the change and I tell them that phentermine changed my life.
