Food became Victoria's comfort during a difficult period in her life with family pressures and her marriage on the rocks. With the help of phentermine she has managed to change her lifestyle habits and return to being a happier individual.

"During my pregnancy, I gained 64 pounds. I was used to being 135-141 pounds. When I went to the hospital to have my daughter in May 2000, I weighed 204 lbs. I got down to about 175, then to about 168 a few months later. But over the next 2 years, I gained it back and was at 175. I tried dieting but with the struggle in my marriage, a new baby and 2 stepchildren, food was a comfort. After I left my husband in October 2002, I started eating like crazy! When I went to Florida in June 2003, I was at 185!

Around October 2003, I got fed up! I had tried the Atkins and many different diets, and working out regularly was difficult with my being a single mother and going to school part-time while working full-time. I found out about Phentermine and went to my doctor. After about 3 months of just the pills and drinking TONS of water and watching what I ate, I had lost 25 lbs! Then I started working out for about 45 minutes 2 times a week, and today I am at 150! I went from a size 17 to a 9. I feel great and so much better! I have extreme arthritis in my knees and now that I have lost the weight, my knees haven't given me trouble in months. Everyone at work says I look like a new person. It feels great.

I am on my last prescription of Phentermine and in 3 weeks I am going to Florida again ... and I get to wear a bikini!"

A new lifestyle
What is the deciding factor that made you decide to change your lifestyle?
I was tired of being fat! My health was bad, my arthritis was a constant pain, and I felt terrible.
What was the most difficult adjustment to your new lifestyle?
Not eating sweets like I used to. I don't even keep them around. I will treat myself about once a week, but other than that, I really don't have any struggles with it. My weight loss has been such a motivation that I don't have many difficulties.
What is the most rewarding part of your new lifestyle?
I can walk up my stairs without my knees hurting, I can keep up with my daughter and I can fit into my old clothes.
Do you have any words of advice for the community?
Don't rely only on the pills, you have to change your diet as well, and HAVE to incorporate exercize into your routine. Even if it is just a little bit, it will make a huge impact!
