Tracy took Phentermine under the care of her doctor. Phentermine helped her give the kickstart she needed, but her successful weight loss of 20 lbs was brought about with proper eating habits and physical activity added to her lifestyle.

"Every winter I seem to go into hibernation and put on my winter frump. Every year it seem to get harder and harder to lose those extra pounds I have put on.

I weighed 153 lbs in February when I was getting ready for work and split the first seam off the butt of my favorite scrubs out! "Oh, I am not buying bigger clothes!"

I am only 5ft, so at 153, it is moderately overweight. My IBW should be between 105-115 lbs.

I worked for 6 weeks on my own and got down to 148 before I found out that my sister was taking phentermine and was having awesome results. I made an appointment with my Doctor the next day. I explained what I had done so far and just wanted a kickstart to help with my plan. He agreed and I signed a contract to be seen once a month for a year for the possible side effects of phentermine.

I have had awesome results and this website has brought me through my tough times. When I felt like giving up, there was always someone here to push me though.

I counted calories the first month until I was used to how much and what to eat. Drink plenty of water at least 64 ounces, but I usually push for 80, though somedays it can be hard. I exercised 5-6 days a week until now and have cut back to 3 days a week for an hour each day."

A new lifestyle
What is the deciding factor that made you decide to change your lifestyle?
When I split the seam out of the back of my favorite scrub pants.
What was the most difficult adjustment to your new lifestyle?
Snacking is a big problem - my co-workers are constantly bringing in the wrong kinds of foods, and I have a really hard time staying away from them.
What is the most rewarding part of your new lifestyle?
Buying new clothes and feeling good, holding my head high and smiling a whole lot more. My husband appreciates it, he can't keep his hands off of me!
Do you have any words of advice for the community?
The problem I have seen through my 3 months on the board is that many people think Phentermine is a miracle pill that will take the weight off without any work on their part. They want to give up after one month and slow weight loss. They don't realize that it's a total life change, eating healthier, exercising and drinking plenty water. Lay off the junk and drive-thru's! You have to hang in there to make it happen. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU WANT IT BAD ENOUGH!
