26-year old Holly Schofield of Green River, WY cites her children as her inspiration to lose her unwanted pounds. Once higly active in karate, Holly found that the carrying and bearing of three children left her 100 pounds heavier than her pre-pregnancy weight.

"I was a chubby girl until I hit high school. My parents got me into Kempo Karate in 8th grade and I really think I owe it to karate that got me skinny for high school. I went from weighing around 175 to 135 and maintained that weight through high school, staying between 135 and 145.

I mostly gained back my weight after my 2nd and 3rd child was born. I went from a healthy 135 to an obese weight of 240. After my husband and I separated, I took a good look at myself in the mirror and was disgusted. I decided at that point that I will never make myself so unimportant. I went down to 210 in 2 months, all on my own, just from changing my eating habits and excercising regularily.

I started taking phen for the first time last year and lost an additional 15 pounds in the first 3 weeks. The only problem was that I had a lot going on in my life and never got around to getting a new prescription from my doctor. I just went back this last month and was a little leary to start back up when I had to go to Las Vegas for a business trip for a whole week. I came back and was so excited to look at the scale. Just in that first week I have gone down 7 pounds. I know that I am on the way to having my body back and my confidence, and I owe it to phen for giving me that kickstart that I needed.

Phen, to me, is like a tool that helps you get a start in making better decisions and gives you that kickstart that you so desperatly need sometimes to get off that weight that you've been stuck at for so long. I am 188 right now, wearing a comfortable size 16. I am hoping that in 2 more months I can be in size 12 and down to 160-165. My long term goal is to be down to 130, size 6 or 8."

A new lifestyle
What is the deciding factor that made you decide to change your lifestyle?
I am a single mom and now, more than ever, I need the confidence that being thin and fit gives me. Looking in the mirror everyday and not being able to keep up with my three kids gives me inspiration to change my lifestyle.
What was the most difficult adjustment to your new lifestyle?
Finding the time to excercise is a real tough one. I want to every day but being a single mom sometimes doesn't allow me to.
What is the most rewarding part of your new lifestyle?
When I look in the mirror, I can see how beautiful I am becoming and that makes me feel great. Having a salad fill your belly full!!
Do you have any words of advice for the community?
Believe in yourself and do it for no other reason than for yourself. Have a statement that you say to yourself everyday. Make yourself believe it and it will come true. This is my statement; I say it to myself at least 20 times a day: I am an intelligent, gorgeous, thin, successful woman.
