Debbie, 31, saw dramatic weight gain after she was diagnosed with a chemical imbalance and put on medication for life; with the extra pounds brought about by body changes combined with the intake of anti-depressants. Since then she had kept up a constant battle against her weight, trying all kinds of exercise and diet programs to help keep the extra pounds at bay, but these have never provided her the realistic long-term solutions she envisaged. Phentermine has given her the extra push she needed, combined with corrected eating habits and exercise, that has put her on the path to a successful weight loss campaign.

"I was 130 pounds for about 9 years. Mostly through my late teens, and most of my twenties. In 1997 I was diagnosed with a chemical imbalance, and had to go on medication for life. It was the combination of body change, and anti-depressants that caused me to gain 40 pounds over a period of 5 years. And what a battle it has been!!!! I have tried everthing from diet programs to exercise programs to start my own failure campaign. Sure, some of them worked for a while, but they were not realistic. The weight always seemed to creep back. It has been a vicious cycle for me. I was always very active. I loved to go out and do things. It got to the point that all I was willing to do was go to work, or stay at home. I was ashamed and embarrassed of what I had become. I went to my annual check-up this year to find out I was 170 pounds. The HEAVIEST I have ever been! I realized that I could no longer try to make myself believe that obesity was something that could NEVER happen to me. So that's when I decided. I had been looking into phentermine for a whole year, and finally decided it was time. I had zero support from family and friends because they were concerned with the possible health risks. So when I started I was the only one who knew about it. It has been a little over two months, and I have lost 25 pounds. I feel incredible! Nothing I have tried over years has worked for me like phentermine has. I'm exercising, and eating small portions. Phentermine was the extra tool that I needed to get started, and see results."

A new lifestyle
What is the deciding factor that made you decide to change your lifestyle?
I was tired of being ashamed and embarrased to leave my house.
What was the most difficult adjustment to your new lifestyle?
To stop picking at food!!!!!!! To eat when I am truly hungry, and stop when I know I am full. Even if I didn't finish my plate. That was the most difficult because I was raised to finish everything (sorry Mom!).
What is the most rewarding part of your new lifestyle?
Feeling better about myself, and not getting upset whenever I happen to see myself in a picture or catch my reflection somewhere.
Do you have any words of advice for the community?
Phentermine has changed my life. Hopefully forever. NOTHING has ever helped me the the way phentermine has. So all I can say is phentermine gives you the start you need for a new healthy life. The rest is up to you.
