Craig, aged 44, of Long Beach, CA., attributes overeating, a desk job, and a sedentary lifestyle to a rising increase in his weight; the once slender youth reached 280 pounds. Modified eating habits, proper training and Phentermine have helped Craig drop some of those unwanted pounds.

"I'm 44-years old now. As a child I was always pretty slender. In my 20's, I began putting on weight. I think it was due mostly to overeating but also to a desk job and a sedentary lifestyle. I never really noticed my body changing, though I did notice my weight going up. In later years, as I looked at old pictures, I realized how much my body did change.

The crucial moment occurred one day when I was driving home from work. While I was driving, I used my stomach as a "shelf" to balance my cup - a super big gulp of Diet Coke. When I caught myself doing that, I felt I had crossed a line. That week, I began a concentrated effort to lose weight. My doctor tried me on Meridia for a while, with good results. But, after almost a year off meds, I began to slowly put weight back on. I tried Phentermine and again had very good results. I realized that although I could use more exercise in my life, the medication made me less hungry, and that was the biggest step towards losing weight.

After a period of good weight loss that I sustained for a couple of years, I again started to edge back up. I had set a goal - I could not allow myself to go over 200 pounds again. When I surpassed 200 pounds in January of 2002, I realized my trigger point had been hit, and that I needed to lose again. Each time I've lost weight, I've kept MOST of it off, and am slowly working towards my goal of 185 pounds. I tried Weight Watchers with some success, but was hungry most of the time. My problem was that I hadn't trained myself to eat less, and without the help of some sort of appetite suppressant, I was not making enough progress. In late September 2002, I began a three month program of Phentermine. My starting weight was 218 pounds. Today, November 8, 2002, I weighed in at 201.5 pounds."
