I have taken these pills on and off for a year now. I never had any health issues at all. I started having shortness of breath and heaviness on my chest. Dr. Ordered an echocardiogram and it came back that I have mitral valve and tricuspid regurgitation. I will never take these or any other diet pills again. You will lose the weight, but is not worth the risk.
I'm off to a great start with 37.5mg of adipex. I've been taking it for 4 days and already went from 232.4 to 227.4 total of exactly 5lbs with no exercising. My calorie intake has drastically changed. I'm no longer hungry as much and don't reach for snacks at night. The first day was a little rough with the feeling of being "high" but every since I've been doing pretty well. I can't wait until the end of the month to see how much I've lost
My doctor asked me at my follow up visit do I still get really hungry and I replied yes. She wrote me a prescription for this medicine and told me to start taking it right away because I wanted to get scheduled for my Bariatric Surgery. In order to be considered for the surgery I needed to lose at least another 10 pounds. I started taking phentermine on January 25th. I lost 8 pounds in one week. Today is February 10th and I have lost over 20 lbs. This stuff is amazing. A little dry mouth. Never hungry. I am scheduled for my surgery and excited. I recommend phentermine to anyone that really wants to lose real weight!
Years of eating unhealthy and grabbing food on the go caught up with me and my weight was suddenly over the 350lbs mark. My doctor was worried about me developing diabetes and heart problems so he put me on adipex earlier this year and it was fantastic. I got the control I needed to stop eating when I was full, which was a lot sooner, I can eat a lot less and be good for hours. I always eat breakfast at home now instead of grabbing something unhealthy like I used to, I take leftovers to work for lunch and then dinner at home. I am also spending a lot less on eating out too which is a bonus. I'm under 300lbs now and hope to get to around 220lbs by the end of the year.
I was always a big guy but the last couple years my weight got out of control after I stopped working physical jobs and started driving long distance full time. I would snack the whole time out of boredom and always ate fast food away from home. This makes it easier to not think about food, and I try to make healthier choices when I'm on the road, which is not easy but I am eating about half what I used to. I dropped close to 25lbs this month and hoping to stay on this long enough to drop about 80lbs to get to around 220.
I started the adipex p capsules on June 13th and went to my doctor yesterday for my weigh-in. I lost 12lbs already and my doctor is really pleased with me and gave me another month supply. This has given me the boost I needed as I would always give up after a couple days, but this takes away the hunger so it's so much easier to eat better - I eat salads every day now!! Only side effect is some trouble sleeping and headaches but not too bad. Going to start exercising next week to help lose more weight and get toned.
