I started taking this pill back in Jan 2012. I was 235lb and at only 5’4’, I was my heaviest yet. I lost 13lbs in the first week, and a total of 90lbs in 7 months. BUT…this will only work if you make life changes, big ones. It curbs appetite but you have to eat right, not just 1200 calories and not care what you eat, you need nutrients to do it right. The energy as great, such a buzz, I felt really alive, even at that high weight it all got easier and the weight came off. Stick with portion control, that’s how I kept it off for over 4 years. If not, all the weight will come back and more. Read less

I started on the 15mg but there was no effect so my doc put the dose up to 30mg of the generic capsules and they were good. The effects lasted most of the day, but I did sometimes get hungry at night. Took them for 3 months then had a month off and just coming to the end of another 3 months. Some side effects when I first went on the 30mg dose - insomnia for a couple weeks and headaches, some anxiety but that was a problem for me before. The break was hard so I am worried about maintaining the results but so far I lost just over 40lbs, but that includes putting some back on in the break. I'm happy but not sure if the effects will last so a little scared to stop. Read less

They work! They take away my appetite and don't make me jittery. I have lost 15 lbs so far, which is a lot for me since I have no thyroid function. I wasn't looking for them to work because I'd tried all kinds of otc diet pills before with no success, but am so happy I gave these a try. Read less

I'm a 50 year old woman, started at 202lbs, and hated myself, I used to be so slim before but due to meds have piled the weight on. I just needed to get started and this helped a lot - I'm going back to the gym, finally seeing the difference, less cravings, completely off soda and wine, currently at 185 after a month, very happy so far. I had dry mouth and a rash at the start but overall nothing I couldn’t handle. Read less

It took away my hunger and cravings during the first couple days, but it took awhile to get used to it. The first day I was groggy and dizzy, but got used to it. These are the side effects I got: hair loss, dry mouth, dry sore eyes, constipation, jitters, insomnia easily irritated, mood swings. But - lost 40 lbs, big energy boost, and it actually took away the headaches I used to get. After 3 months it’s not working with cravings and hunger anymore, but still tons of energy and no headaches. My doctor kept me on it but now high BP, so I decided to cut down. Now low energy and getting headaches again. Weight loss has plateaued these last weeks. Read less

I’m 5'3 and was 202lbs when I started the adipex in Jan 2016. I’m now skipping days to stop them in the next couple weeks. Total weight loss is 38lbs in 3 months!! The first month I lost the most. Ate 1200 calories daily, so much water, worked out 4-5 x a week. I get headaches due to lack of water, sometimes I was dizzy bc I stood up too fast. Many sleepless nights from the energy - my body felt so tired but couldn’t sleep sometimes more than 3 hours. My body image isn't what I thought it would be, but my journey isn’t over, and I feel more confident. adipex is a tool I used to help change my life style, very thankful for it! Read less

I stopped taking this around the end of March and I kept off the weight so far. The product is good - I wanted the 37.5mg but my doctor explained that the slow release means that it lasts longer, and this was a big thing for me as I am a night snacker and used to pick a lot during the evening so this helped a ton! I lost nearly 45lbs in total, my weight loss was steady but I didn't cut down too low on the calories so maybe that's why. I followed a program designed by my doctor and started going to the gym too, I feel great and positive about myself for once. I was overweight as a teenager and this is the first thing that really helped me stick to my diet. No side effects except some dry mouth at the start. Read less
