I like Phen Caps more than the other over the counter pills. I feel that Phen Caps are safer, I don't have the growling feeling in my stomach. They are great to get your appetite under control, you will find you eat a lot less. Listen to your body and it will tell you when you are actually hungry rather than emotional eating! Read less

Generic phentermine (capsules) - works so well, nothing bad to say

Started the 30mg capsule 2 weeks ago – it works immediately. I feel so much more energy, not jittery, but then couldn’t sleep that night so now I take it no later than 7am. I get the dry mouth but drink a lot of water anyways. 9lbs down after less than 2 weeks, never lost weight this quick before. I feel in a good mood, maybe because of the energy, and the effects are great. It curbs my appetite but don’t starve yourself, you need to eat. Read less

I’m taking the phentermine 37.5, prescribed by my doctor. I started 3 weeks ago and I’m down 5lbs. I had hoped for more but apparently this is around average. I feel tired all day then I could easily stay up all night some nights, but I have to force myself to sleep and force myself to eat too. I’m not very impressed so far, I expected the side effects to stop by now and for more weight loss too, seems a lot of trouble and risk to health for 5lbs. Read less

After a car wreck in 2012, I went from a sturdy 260lbs (I'm a big tall guy) to 325lbs. Exercise isn’t an option due to my injuries and my weight wasn’t helping with the pressure on my joints. I went to the doctor earlier this year and started on this medication in March. My first weigh in I was down to 311lbs and last week after 2 months I was down to 299lbs! I cut out soda and beer and drink water to help with the dry mouth now, but no big changes – I’m just not hungry. I have a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and a plate of whatever’s for dinner. Read less

I wasn’t obese, just at the edge of overweight and wanted to be in the normal range and lose my tummy. My doctor wouldn’t prescribe it so I got it from a weight loss clinic – complete waste of money. It works, my appetite was zero but the side effects were unbearable. My mouth was so dry that my tongue felt too big for my mouth, serious dizziness, nausea, mood swings, headaches and insomnia. I couldn’t even finish a week on it because I was worried about driving and fainting on the way to work. It was just way too strong for me. Read less

I used to work in a physical job but then switched to an office job after a back injury and got into the bad habit of sitting all day, eating out of habit and then going home to sit in front of the TV. I got close to 300lbs so my doctor prescribed me phentermine 3 months ago. He said I could be on it another 3 months as long as I keep losing. So far I’m down 45lbs, and that’s with strict portion control and working out three times a week. My doctor told me to add cardio to burn fat too so I am going to cycle 2-3 times a week. No side effects after the initial week with some insomnia and headaches, now nothing. Read less
