There is a lady that goes around the country talking about what is in our food. She carrries around a little lunch box that has a mcdonalds cheeseburger and small fry in it. Looks fresh from the store like you could just eat it right there, but in reality it is 12 years old. No mold, no nothing. It was really disgusting.

Good for you! That is a victory!! I do allow myself a few pancakes maybe once a month or so... I use the whole wheat pancakes (which are so good and filling) and sugar free/carb free syrup. Sometimes I add chopped strawberries, blueberries or bananas... and once in a blue moon, low carb chocolate chips i don't think I could live my life without pancakes now and then!!!!

Doesn't it feel good to have power over food and not the other way around? Good for you for chosing not to eat them. It wasn't the Phen, it was you. Way to go!

    Default Small Victory!!!

I wanted to share with you all what I feel is a small victory for me. This morning I made by kiddos some pancakes knowing that I can't have any. While I was making them though, I didn't even want them!!!!! I'm surprised and very proud of myself. I knew I could share this with you ladies and you would know where I'm coming from. Hubby just thought I was a doofus! But I can here that Rocky song playing in the background!!!
