Too much, too fast???

    From what I have been reading I think that is normal. Some are going to lose that much weight in the first week or so.

    I was excited and I really did rub my eyes thinking WTCrap, haha. Then the more I thought, I got a lil nervous about it.

    I have replaced all the carbonated drinks with water. I did have some gatorade over the weekend. Thanks for the encouragement.

    Ur weight loss is normal. Seems like for a lot of people they loose quite a bit their first week and then it starts tapering off where u lose about 2-3lbs a week. Congratulations I know u were excited when u saw that scale!

    Jump up and down for joy honey. lol You really do lose a lot in the first month. 11lbs is a lot but you cut out a LOT of sugar when you cut out your carbonated beverages. About 5 of that is water weight. Are you drinking a lot of water to replace what you are losing? Don't worry about it. It will level out and you will want these days back.

    Well I didn't lose that big in my first week, but I know a lot of people on here who did. In the first couple of weeks the number will be big, but that's mainly due to water. Then it will slow down to maybe 2 lbs a week or so, which will be fat. Congrats on ur weight loss And I think ur on the right track, especially by cutting out the carbonated drinks. good luck !

    Default Too much, too fast???

    Hello everyone!!!!!

    I am new to Phen and I just started last week on Wednesday (7/23/08), that morning I weighed 191. This morning (7/28/08) I got on the scale and was weighing in at 180 even. Part of me was rubbing my eyes like, I must still be 1/2 asleep. So I looked again and it was right. Is that losing to much to fast? Believe me I was surprised, but I promise I am eating balanced meals with some light walking/jogging. I have cut out all my carbonated drinks, which was always a big weakness for me. I have also cut back on the amount of breads I eat.

    While I was surprised this morning and excited, part of me can't help but feel a little nervous or scared about losing that much in less than a week. Is this the norm for most people or should I maybe be trying something else.
