    Default Im mean..

My boyfriend is a big ol guy.. about 350, and when I started my diet he would not eat anything I fixed. This made me sooo mad so finally when I would go to the store I wouldnt buy him chips and junk food anymore. So he HAD to eat what I fixed lol... he is now down about 60lbs and tells me how much better he feels. Just remember... you will get to that weight you want more than anything, then what will his reaction be to what youve cooked?!

Also, since my hubby HATES going to the grocery store, it is rare that he leaves things out that I feel compelled to trash. Occasionally however, he brings home goodies that a co-worker or client has given him and inevitably they in up getting tossed.

Well my husband was like that til I started phen (he just started last week himself) but every time I would seriously be watching he would sit in bed at night eating chips etc, or going to dunkin donuts and I only had so much will power. So this time I told him this is it. WE are changing how everyone in house eats and if dunkin donuts comes in to play it will only 2 yr LOL

I encounter this off and on in my home. It stinks, but I realized that some people can eat like that now but will pay for it later and some people can eat like that forever without problems. I am not one of those people. I never have been and I never will be. How silly am I that I did not accept this years ago? If you were allergic to peanuts but still loved the smell, texture, flavor, and crunch of them, would you eat them? Probably not.

Try to remember to be happy that hubby didn't say, "What the f is this? I don't like any of this stuff. " Even though he ate poorly later, at least for one meal you got something helpful to his body inside of him. LOL

my hubby is like that a lot of the time too. I do have to give him credit (there is hope) we had his family over for a cookout a few weekends ago and he made his parents take the pie home. He told them it was the last thing i would want in the house. Good thing he didn't say it was the last thing I needed

Anyone else have a spouse/s.o/roommate, what have you that is just NOT helping??
I made this (if I may say so) realllly good dinner tonight. Baked salmon, steamed carrots, and also steamed peperr combo...I'm still eatin (I eat slow lol). My husband wolfed his down in 30 seconds (military guy for ya), put his dish in the sink, immediately grabbed a bag of chips and is sitting here for the last 15 minutes, polished off half a bag. Grrr. It just really annoys me for some reason.
