Yeah that is a long drive. When we moved out here from Virginia, we took a month to do it (purposely). We had 2 kids then and we went from VA, to PA, to Michigan visiting family and then across the top of the country visiting friends and more family. Plus we went to Rushmore, Yellowstone and every tourist thing in between lol. It was a lot of fun though.

There used to be one in Marysville, which is a hop skip and a jump away, but I'm not sure if they are open. And there is a Dr. in Auburn where greenapplegirl77s sister goes, you could probably get the name from her.

But if he wants to drive up north of seattle, she may find a cheaper place, but they are few and far between here. Plus the cost of gas may not make up for the cost difference in clinics lol.

It is going to take some investigating. My PCP I know would say no, so I didn't even bother trying to get an appointment for disappoint with him. I went straight to doing internet searches (using the key words medical weight loss with my city and state), the yellowpages, and asking friends. The best two resources I found were the yellowpages and asking friends. Also, if your sister decides to use a weight loss clinic make sure she calls around because prices vary greatly. One place I called was between $200 to $500 a month for pills and shots. The place I choose to go to was $169 for a 10 week program and that includes my pills and a weekly B-12 shot.

Has she tried looking in her local yellow pages under "weight loss". Usually they will advertise there.
