    I'm going to start splitting mine so taht the second half gets me through the after dinner munchies period.....the trick is taking the second half on an empty stomach, and early enought that you don't have insomnia....

    Hi Tall Girl,

    Thanks for your reply. I am sure you will see results soon. Keep the walking up! This is only my third week and I have seen very surprising results. I do 30 minutes to 1 hour of cardio and light weights 5 days a week. I also run/walk about 12 miles a week. Every little bit of exercise you do counts!

    Ohh, I am doing the exact same thing. I was on 37.5 for about 1.5 weeks...and my heart was racing and I was feeling horrible. So I stoped taking them for 4 days, just to let my body rest for a little bit. Then started again yesterday, and now I take half and half. I take half a pill at 7 am and then the other half around 11:30 or 12 noon. And that is working great for me. I am feeling a little jittery, but I can't even compare that to what I was feeling before.

    This is working great for me. Now I just wish I could drop some weight....I mean come on....2 pounds on Phen since I started. I know, I know, it is a loss and I am happy with that. But I think that it will work better for me now that I am feeling like a normal person again. And I can start taking my walks again, I was affraid that my heart was going to popp out of my chest when I was walking fast before. Now I am looking forward to next Tuesday to weight in.

    Wow, thanks for the great responses! I really feel like I have a new circle of friends here. I am REALLY enjoying being on this forum.

    I will definitely mention it to my doctor, but it is certainly working better for me. Thanks again. :heartpump::eatnphen1::blabla:

    I wish I could half mine, but I take 30mg in a capsule. I wonder if the pharmacy has it any other way. My worst cravings are in the late evening.

    Yes it's a good thing to do. I read that somewhere recently but make sure you're also drinking a lot of water and eating enough and of course working out because if you don't expel that energy you will have insomnia.

    I half mine and it works WAY better for me. Trick for me is ...taking 2nd half on empty stomach and then waiting min. hour to eat.

    But it works!

    Lots of ladies here do that, so I think it sounds like a great idea. I'm on the 30mg capsules. Dr prescribed 2 a day but it keeps me awake too badly. I usually take one around 11 am.

    I think you should mention that to your dr next time you go in..just to make him aware of it. There may be other options he gives to you.

    :heartpump::heartpump:Hi All, I am really enjoying this forum. Everyone is very motivating and helpful.

    I am starting my third week on Phen tomorrow and I've already seen some amazing results. I am afraid to weigh myself, but I have gone down a whole dress size already....

    My question is: Is it okay to take 1/2 of my Phen in the morning and another 1/2 around lunch? I am taking the 37.5 mg... The reason I am doing this is that last week I had a scary experience with a racing heartbeat and feeling dazed (and confused - literally). I was afraid I was going to have to go off of the Phen already after only a week. I read online that some doctors actually tell people to do this if they are having strong side effects... It has helped a lot. I am feeling the positive effect of the Phen and almost none of the bad... And the heart racing has stopped.

    Thoughts? Comments? Advice?
