    Default lost 5 lbs first week

    I lost 5 lbs my first week. I followed the Weight Watchers core program. I anywhere between 18-32 lbs from goal.

    I bluedragonfly if you are eating 800 to 1000 calories and having headaches in the evening that is your body telling you you are not eating enough! try eating a bit more and see if the headaches go away.

    6/12/08 - 209.5 -8.5 for a total of 23 pounds in the first month!

    I try to keep it no higher than 1100 and no lower than 700-800 depending on the types of food i'm eating and stopping when i'm full even if that means my calorie intake is lower that day. I take lots of vitamins and lots of water to make sure i'm getting all the nutrients that i need one way or another. I might up calories a tad after the wedding when i don't mind losing a little slower but I just listen to how my body feels and not what everybody always says because everybody is different and what works for them may not work for you. (like if you don't eat breakfast your metabolism will slow and you won't lose weight or will lose slower) i call BS that's been said so many times people assume it's true but I never eat breakfast and in fact don't eat until between 3 and 4:30pm when i'm hungary and i'm obviously still losing weight. Just learn to listen to your body and try what it says

    Question

    Hi, I have been keeping it around 800 to 1000 calories too. I thought that I was keeping my calories too low but I am glad to see that others are doing the same. One thing I have noticed is that I "forget" to eat. One day I had a racing heartbeat and was feeling strange and I realized I had not eaten more than a nectarine and some water in the previous 24 hours.

    Have any of you had these symptoms while you were on Phen taking in really low calories?

    all of the weight i lost was done by sticking to a 1200 calorie diet, and 25 fat grams.....plus, i drank nothing but water. some days i would eat less, sometimes maybe a TAD more.....but it averaged out to 1200, that was what i aimed for.

    6-04-08 176.8 lbs (stopped the shots. trying it on my own)
    6-16-08 175.6 lbs (went back to the shots today!)
    7-9-08 170.6 lbs (slowing down, but still going down!)

    I had an extended tummy tuck in April of year. He removed a 6.5 lb pannus (excess skin).

    May i ask, do you have alot of extra skin or does if spring back? Just wondering if it seems like i cant get rid of that flap of stomach that hangs down. Please feel free not to answer ,if you dont want

    Yes, i eat 1/4 to 1/2 cup at a time. Protein is the most important. 800 is pretty low. 1k-1200 is much better for you. You will probably lose at least 2 lbs a week. Some people who have lapbands don't have a lot of restriction so they eat more like 1 cup and still lose. I am not one of them. I have about 20 (stretch goal 35) to go. I don't go by BMI as I am still cosidered moderately obese at 220. If I hit 185 I will be overweight. I go by size though. I started at 24 and I'm in a 16. I am 5'8" tall and happy with that. Obesity is a disease so I am happy to not be yo yoing any more.

    On lapband you can eat only small amounts at a time, right? Your doctor still didnt want you going below 800?

    I had lapband surgery 2 years ago. My surgeon recommends 800-1k, no more than 1200. If you stay on 1k-1200 a day you should be fine. I wouldn't sustain 800 for too long.

    since i started phen im lucky to fit in 800 cal. that full feeling will probably go away after my body adjust to the phen, dont you think. (I kinda hope it doesnt)

    It was 85* when I got up this morning...now it's up to 95* with around 50% humidity. I'm ready for cooler weather, but not the snow.

    However I feel. Some days I would eat as low as 800, other days I go up to 1500. Just don't go low like to 800 often.

    thanks for the website gothprincess. I'm in Mo too and also call it Misery! I'm hoping the heat here will melt the fat away. heat index was suppossed to be 105 today

    There are websites that you can use that will tell you how many calories you should be eating everyday. I like caloriecheckbook. You put in your info(weight/height/activity level/goal weight) and it tells you how many calories you should be eating everyday to lose weight. Hope this helps....and don't be afraid to ask ?s.

    I know makes u kinda scared to ask a question now right? Naa I am sure no one will think u sound like ole girl. I have heard the 1200 cal but my weight doc told me 1000. The days when I work out I do consume more than 1000 because its hard to workout on 1000 cal. I will have fallen out somewhere!

    Hello again! Sorry if I am asking too many questions! How low have or do you go with your calorie intake. I know most books say 1200 is as low as you should go. I would rather hear from personal experience . What kind of side effects have you had?(please forgive if i sound like sweetgirl, i'll try not make this many questions a habit! Thanks bunches!
