I was told the same thing.

It never hurts to ask though. It is just a vitamin.

i don't see why he would say no...they are just vitamins that our body already has. the shots have done such wonders for me that i'm convinced my body doesn't produce enough on its own. i know a girl i went to high school with who was probably 300 lbs. i saw her a few months ago and she is about 180. she did it with b-12 shots, so i think that was definitely the case with her. it's what got me interested. if your doctor won't do it then go to a weight loss clinic. there is nothing harmful about b-12.

i work 3rd shift and the shots really seem to boost my energy level, it is a metabolism boost not a weight loss shot so it has to be used in conjunction with diet, exercise, pills, blah blah blah.......... it helps to maintain an active lifestyle, and keep your body burning off those calories that you are taking in, i love the shots!!!!!!! i would recommend them!!!!!!!!

My weight loss clinic feels the b12 shots just drain clients wallets. They said they were willing to give them if someone wanted them, but they have not seen where they have helped patients more than the phen alone.

I take liquid B. I get it from Wally World.

Tell your doc, B-Shots won't hurt you, and since you believe thay may help, you'd appreciate it!.
You''l get a script, then you go pick it up, and take it back to the docs, s/he keeps it at the off ice and you go in once a month for the shot.

That's how my doc did it...

Please PM me on a resource lesson... I'm not as resourceful as I once was )

If you feel you need that extra boost of energy, then ask. It never hurts to ask, and then if he says no, it never hurts to throw a lil temper tantrum to get your way. Write out a list of reasons why you think this would help you, and present it to your dr.

    Default B-12 Question

I want your opinions on this ....

My general doctor said "NO NO" to any form of prescription for Phen. So be it, I'm resourceful and took another avenue.

So in your opinions ... how appropriate or just down right in-appropriate would it be if I asked him to give me the B-12 shots?
