Thanks. I was wondering if he'd give me another refill if he didn't think I was losing enough. Turns out the office was closed today. His front office lady claimed she called yesterday to let me know. Hmm. Didn't see their number on Caller ID. Didn't have a voice message from them.

At the clinic I go to I was told that I had to loose at least 4 lbs a month to continue getting the Phen. I overheard the lady go in to see the NP before me and she only lost 1. She didn't get her Phen that day.

I guess it depends. I have read of some who are on Phen for a year or more. My doc told me at my last weigh in that he will prescribe it for me until I hit my goal. Then I can come in for the "heavy duty" months...like November and December.

My doctor told me that the FDA does not like you to take Phen more than 3 consecutive months in a year. This is so your body does not get use to it and with the ingredients in Phen it can be highly addictive. It may just depend on the doctor, honestly. But if you read about Phen online it will tell you why the FDA says 3 months only.

4/17/08 (size 18/20 pants and XXL shirts): 220 (Started Phen)
    4/17/08-5/17/08 (1st month lost 18 pounds) 202
    5/17/08-6/17/08 (2nd Month lost 8.4 pounds) 193.6
    6/17/08- 7/17/08 (3rd Month lost 7.6 ponds) 186
    7/17/08- 8/17/08:184 (No Phen)
    8/17/08-9/17/08: 182 (No Phen)
    9/17/08-11/17/08: 185 (No Phen)

Depends on which doctor. I was bummed when the new doc came in and said that once I get to 25 percent from the idea body weight they would take you off. But, that is only because we suddenly got a new doc. He also told one girl since she didn't lose for a month or two if in this month she didn't lose she would be taken off. 146 I'm not sure is healthy, but on the bright side 146 is the smallest I've ever been in my life. *LOL* It's also not so bad since I have a month extra because I haven't taken them all. So if I need to fall back, I shouldn't have to go back. He said you couldn't take it any more than a year as well. I guess it depends on the doc. Another bright side is rather than 50 dollars, it only cost 27 with this doc. Again it is a different phen so I hope this one does as well.

I'm nervous. I have a weigh-in with the doc tomorrow a.m. I've only lost about 7 pounds since I last saw him. Do doctors keep giving you refills as long as you're losing something?
