The book "YOU On a Diet" by Dr.'s Oz and Roizen was very enlightening and even has funny cartoons to help you understand what they're talking about. There is a book I'm reading now called "Flip the Switch" by Robert K Cooper, PhD that I'm also learning from. This second book is talking about something they call 'Meta-stat' and how to keep your metabolism going strong all day la di da. I don't pay so much attention to that as I do about how it talks about ways our bodies react from our blood sugar spiking, or lack of sleep, how muscles work and build....If you can find these in your library you might want to browse at the books near them to see if any others strike you as interesting. If not in the library I would try amazon online.
