I've done WW a few times and it worked as long as I did it, I'm just curious, do we know how many calories their points program is based on? How many do we get per day, and how many does it add if you eat all your flex points?

Do you mean changing the # of calories you eat back and forth? If so this has always been my trick, I've never read anything about it to support my theory but I'll eat around 1200 calories a day for a week or two, then raise it to around 1500-1600 for 2-3 days (you may gain a couple pounds but it's usually water weight from increased sodium), and then drop it down to around 900-1000 caloried a day for a week or two until the weight loss slows again and then 1500 for a couple days and then back to 1200 calories a day for a week or two. and repeat. but know that not everyone can survive on such few calories, My exercise is just walks with my dog or slow walks on the treadmill because of my asthma and I'm not working so I'm not too active during the days, You may need to use the same theory with different calorie amounts to suit your lifestlye.
I'm looking to "shake up" my metabolism, and am looking try something different for a couple of weeks. I'm currently doing weight watchers and taking 30 mg of phen. My weight loss seems to be slowing down. I think that it's a combination of phen wearing off and my body getting used to my usual 1200 cal a day diet. I'm thinking about asking my Dr to increase my phen to 37.5 my next visit. But in the meantime I would like to try a variation to my current dieting.
I know some of you guys have done carb cycling, but has anyone tried calorie cycling? Have you had success with one vs the other?
