    I'm having the same issues! I lost weight very easily the first 2 1/2 wks: 12 lbs! Now I'm not seeing the scale move much at all I think i only lost 1 lb. in the past week. I'm eating a low cal diet...?

    I lost 13 my first week....0 my second week because of TOM....12 my third week and now in week 4 the scale is going up and down. I think my fast lose has stopped. But that's ok....almost 30 pounds in a month is awsome. I will settle for 15 pounds in a month but I'll have to work my butt off to do that.

    They all said it. I look at it this way....At my starting weight, and completely sedentary I was burning around 2000 calories just breathing and working. Now that I have lost almost 40 lbs, I don't burn that many anymore. The less you weigh, the less effort it takes to do things like walk, run, exercise etc...so it is harder to drop the weight. The basic rule of thumb is to burn less than you eat. But do eat enough! Also, with lifting weights twice a week, you may be turning fat into muscle and that will make it look (on the scale) like you are losing it slower. Take measurements for the next two weeks. I bet good money that your body is changing because of the exercise.

    lol.....most people don't lose 5-10 lbs. a week. now, a lot of people lose that much during the FIRST week. after that, it's back to the 1-2 lb. a week thing. plus, you're 140 lbs! 1 pound a week for you is perfectly normal and great! the smaller you are, the harder it is to lose. hang in there.

    Everyone is different, keep in mind that the more weight you have to lose the faster it comes off in the beginning. At 140 lbs you are more than likely now going to burn as many calories as someone who is 200 lbs during exercise.
    Even if you only lose 3lbs per month you'll still be at your goal by the end of the year which is great. Hell it's better than gaining 3 lbs a month

    Default How are you guys doing it??

    How are you guys losing 5,6,10 lbs a week? Whats you routine? Do you exercise everyday? Do more weights than cardio? Eat less than 1000 calories?

    I only lose like 1 lbs a week...IF even that. I do cardio 4 times a week, and weights 2 times a week. I've tried increasing my intensity, adding more weights, drinking more water, taking LIQUID b12, and I even take Alli with dinner.

    At this rate, I don't think that goal of 10lbs by AUG. will be met I think i'll be lucky to lose 3lbs this month!!

    ARgh.
