Hey Jade. I wondered where you were. 15 pounds is great!
I weighed in the other day and my dr. said she only expects me to lose like 5 pounds this coming month. Not really sure I can accept that, so I am going to kick up the exercise a bit. I have read good stuff about the interval training too, so I am going to try to do some of that this week, and I am going to swim some this week. I swam while I was on vacation and I felt really good afterward. I am definitely not a runner in any capacity (track, trail, treadmill, nothing) so that is out.
Good luck to all of us!
See ya at the beach, I'll be the fat one in the thong.

I started right about the same time you did, and I've only lost about 8lbs total since then.
And I actually work out everyday and eat right

I'm beginning to believe that the less weight you need to lose, the harder it is to lose it.

I think for you, if you could just step up w/ the exercise then you should be able to lose weight.

I've been reading a lot online about weight plateaus... and one thing to get your weight loss to kick in, is to do interval training. which is like slow for 3 mins, medium for 5 mins, super fast for 3 mins, 5 mins medium, 3 mins slow. soimething like that.. Or carb rotations.. 3 days of lots of carbs, and 4 days of hardly any carbs.

This is all supposed to "trick" your metabolism, so it doesnt get used to a certain pattern.

I know the feeling, I have the same problem at times trying to fit in exercise. But what I try to do is put in 30 min. as soon as I get home or wake up 30 minutes earlier to get in the workout!!! Congrats on the 15 lost!
