I was going to say that a smaller car does not always mean more MPG. I was contemplating getting a smaller car for running my errands, but I read an article in the paper that was an eye opener. Do some research before you buy anything.

    Stilltrying thanks for the tip.

I think gas here is $4.37 a gal last time I fueled up. I've been doing my small shopping at Safeway (a grocery chain if you don't have one) because with their club card I can get a 10 cents a gallon discount. The speed limit here is gerenally between 55-70. That being said, the faster you drive, the more fuel you burn. So it would technically save fuel BUT if it causes more congestion and you are sat idling on the interstate for long periods, then it isn't going to save much.

    Angry 55 MPH

As if paying $4.00 a gallon is not enough, now they want to lower the speed limit. That might work in some areas, but in Dallas Fort Worth, it will only cause more congestion than we already have.... I need to buy a moped.
