Im not saying that is to much food for that person.. Im saying most of us struggle to get in 500-1000 calories, let alone 1500 calories.

That is why I asked where they got the phen from.

i don't think 1500 calories is too much at all for a 260 lb. person....really. i started out at 202 and was eating 1200 calories a day and lost like crazy. now, since i've gotten lighter i can't eat 1200 a day and see the loss i did before.

well, i'm not gonna lie, that is a slower loss than most people, BUT you may not be like most people. everyone is different. have you considered your time of the month being a factor? is it getting ready to start....or just ended? lots of people gain POUNDS of water weight during that time....i'm one of those people. then, afterward it comes off really fast. drinking water is a huge part of it, too. how much do you actually drink? also, you are eating 1200 calories, but what kind of food? if it's low calorie, but loaded with fat that could be the reason. sodium makes you retain water also. are you eating a lot of salty foods? i would suggest you keep a daily weight log, and a daily food journal. show it to your doctor on your next visit and see if he has any suggestions....or post it here! don't get discouraged...four pounds gone is better than none!

Don't be discouraged 4lbs is great in 2 wks!! Keep in mind that everyone is different so try not to compare yourself too much to other people. I lost 7 lbs in my first week and then lost 2 lbs the following wk, then only 1 the next week and the next. So for some it will start off fast and then slow down where as others it will start off slow and then pick up. The first time I was on Phen I only lost 5 lbs in the first month but tons of inches. So chart your measurements too! You'll be fine. Stay on track, eat, exercise and drink your water. :-)

My doc told me to stay around 1000 cal a day, other people have posted around 1200 a day. So maybe you want to decrease your cals some more. Plus if your working out 5x a week u probably have built up muscle and anytime you build muscle its not going to make the scale show that much of a weight loss at first. Just keep at it and dont get discouraged you will begin to see a difference.

    Default too slow?

    Hey all,
I'm new the phen, been on it about 2 weeks and have only lost 4 pounds. why is it going so slow? I'm working out, eating well and almost nothing is happening. I see so many of you loosing 8 to 12 pounds in the first week! how can I do that? Is 2 pounds typical?
