I think it's because we're sometimes infatuated with weighing ourselves, so we're wearing out our poor scales. Mine sat and collected dust until just the past few months.

Take it back anyway!! Did you pay with cash or debit/credit? If you explain it to them, they should at least give you store credit. Who would keep a receipt for a scale. Scales are not supposed to break... I have the Avon glass scale and love it. It is stylish so it doesn't bother me to have my scale sitting in the main bath where everyone sees it. As long as the numbers aren't stuck on the screen I could care less! ha ha!
Get thin and God Bless! Gina

I swear I'm trapped in that body somewhere!

My last scale, which is some Richard Simons scale, used to be very accurate. But maybe I moved it around too much because now it will read zero but once you step on it is over by like 40 pounds! My husband got on it one morning and freaked out. He wasn't sure how he could gain 40 pounds. Now I don't completely trust any scale.

yeah, take that puppy back immediately! there's no reason on earth a scale should break like that. the scale i have is called health-o-meter, and i got it at wal mart for around 40 dollars. it was well worth it....it's digital and it shows your weight down to the ounce. you can also save your weight ...put in your height/age and it tells you your body fat percent.... it shows you how much weight you've lost (or gained) since the last time you weighed, or the last time you SAVED your weight.....it's just awesome.

UGH! luckily this weekend we are getting a dr. scale from my grandma, so hopefully that will be better...i have a dr. apt. tomorrow and was kinda hoping to know what i weighed BEFORE i went lol oh well,
