DON'T FEEL BAD 10LBS. IS A GREAT START OFF. I WAS JUST LIKE YOU UNTIL SOMEONE SUGGESTED THAT I START A SCRAP BOOK. NOW I TAKE PICS OF MYSELF AND COMPARE THEM. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SOMETHING THAT FITS SO YOU CAN EASILY SEE YOUR RESULTS. DO THIS EVERY TWO OR THREE MONTHS AND COMPARE PICS. KEEP THEM IN A SCRAP BOOK AND ALWAYS GO BACK TO LOOK AT THEM. YOU WILL SEE THEN. YOU MAY BE LOSING MORE INCHES THAN LBS. THAT'S HOW I AM. I HAVE ONLY LOST 6LBS IN 3MONTHS BUT I'VE LOST INCHES. SO KEEP YOUR HEAD UP GIRL. IT WILL GET BETTER.......WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T GIVE UP.

My husband was gone for 2 months and I lost 15 pounds in that time. He came home...not a word. But I wasn't seeing it either. Until the day before yesterday, I was looking in the mirror before my shower and noticed I'm finally getting a waist and some curves, not just flab (of course, that is still there too lol). Don't get discouraged, it will come.

My husbands cousin asks me every time I see her if I am losing weight, whether I am or not, bless her lol.

Our starting weights are about the same. Its taken me about 2 and a half months to get this far and I am starting to have people notice a lot lately. It was somewhere around 15 pounds when I first started to realize it myself and 20 before I got my first "Hey, are you losing weight?"

People will notice. Just keep going.

Stilltryn, u r so correct. I weighd n at my weight doc at a whopping 189 (never been that big and went up to that in about a month) and its hard for me to see a difference but I know what clothes were rediculously tight at 189. If I had started phend when I was weighing 175 I would be able to see a bigger difference and so would my friends. No one REALLY saw me when I gained that xtra 10 so to them I still look like I did before. When I hit the 20lb weight loss, I am sure I will c much more of a difference and maybe others. Dont get discouraged, as long as u know u lost it thats all that matters. Good going!

I first started my weight loss journey (well this one at least) in August of 2005. I started at 215lbs!!!!
I was already down almost 30lbs before someone said something. The more you have to lose the longer it will take to be noticeable. So someone who weighs 130, would probably show a 5-10lb loss much easier than say a person who weighs 190lbs....Good luck, 10lbs is SUPER!

10 pounds is great! don't get discouraged if nobody notices. i started out at 202 and nobody noticed my loss until i was 180! that's over 20 pounds. plus, if you are wearing the same clothes (which i assume you probably are) they wouldn't be able to tell. i would say it will be when you've lost enough to go down a size or so and they can see your clothes fitting you as opposed to the bagginess of your old clothes. right now just be happy with seeing that number go down and KNOWING you are losing weight.....the rest will come with a little more time.

People will notice! However, all you need to know is you have lost 10 lbs. and that is a great start!!
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

10# is GREAT! It may only be water, but all of us know-Numbers matter! Feel good about that!
I just posted on another thread that I've only been back on phen about a month and was only down 5#. I am really bad about exercising regularly so I don't see results as fast, and I'm okay with that right now. But after those 5# I could already tell a difference and so could my hubby. I had on a pair of shorts the other day that were just hanging. So I walked out and told my hubby that I really like being able to slide my shorts off without having to undo them! Down a size already!
So don't fret. You will start noticing soon. Remember others may not because of how you dress or that your clothes will become too big, and you are all covered up and they can't tell!
Stay positive! It's happening even as you type!

    Default When???

I have lost ten pounds in my first two weeks. But when I look in the mirror I look the same. No one has noticed my weight loss either. Can anyone tell me at what point I can actually look forward to feeling like I have accomplished something other than pee off some pounds?
