Hoping in 6 more months, I've knocked off some more weight so I feel comfortable in all the things that come with the end of the year. Not to mention a higher energy level etc.

I've used Phen for 6 months, so disappointed w/ myself I have not lost more weight and I'm just wasting time.
This summer is better than last at a minus 30lbs but still, it could have been better.

I have upcoming events and it looms over my head, how much better things would be / go if I was smaller.
Ticks me right the heck off!
So funny that we are on the same page. I looked up and realized that is has been 6 months, and I feel like I could have done soooo much better. I think I bought into the stereotype that big people are weak. So I kept telling myself when I get under 200lbs, I will start to REALLY workout the way I used to. Sad how much time I have wasted.

We are not over the top present people ... we use to be, mercy ... malls saw me coming!

But since the boys we really are trying to bring home the reason for the season and not buy into the commercial part of it all.

However the following month (Jan) is their birthday and we do the damage then, I like to make THEIR day memorable.

    Talking Oh No!

Man... I guess I better get cracking! Lots of shopping to do. I can't leave it to the last minute you know. That just causes chaos! So much to do and so little time. I don't know how I will ever make it. LOL!

I do love Thanksgiving and Christmas! Add July 4th and you have all my favorite holidays.
    Keep on Keepin' on!

This year has flown by. Unreal.

Something me and the kids have done for years is have "Christmas in July". We spend a week watching Christmas movies (nothing like watching snow when the heat index is 105!) do Christmas projects like make ornaments or decorate rolls of brown butcher paper or freezer paper to use later for wrapping paper. We usually try and do some shopping too-a lot of sales start going on now and we pick up a lot of little stuff on sale or clearance. The local garden center is a great place for home stuff, as is Michaels. Usually we do whatever we can think of that reminds us of Christmas-except dress warm! (although-I have been known to show up at family Christmas with shorts on!) We were actually planning on doing it next week, if we had time!
We've run as late as August too! But its a lot of fun.
    What a cute idea ..
my boys are too young ..they wouldn't get it, but maybe next year.
I wanted to say tho ... last year we wrapped some presents with brown paper that the boys did Red and Green hand prints all over!

We have really got to stick together now. I plan on wearing one of my little black dresses this New Year's eve. I can't do that if I pig out during the holidays.

Yep. It won't be long before I am faced with the temptation of Thanksgiving & Christmas dinner. I have got to get this together by then.

LOL... I was just thinking the same thing. Which led me to the decision to stop taking phen for now. I made such a complete pig of myself over the weekend and I made sure to take phen. I understand that phen only takes away the physical need to eat me being an emotional eater I am often eat without feeling hungry.

I am going to fly solo for now until I get my emotions in check.
