How much are we talking here?? Shaving ain't doing it for me... I too have the pale/fair skin with jet black and thick leg hair. Weird, every hair on my body is thick as h*ll and jet black except the hair on the TOP of my head which is light brown. I thought all your hair was supposed to match??

Default The BEST alternative to shaving

I have tried the deodorant........I dance too so I used to use that one all the time but it wouldnt work say if you "just" shaved and then got into some heavy activity and what-not. Its really only effective if your using it a few hours after you shave. This Noxema stuff is awsome.

ANNNNNNNND for bikini area - Noxema has this new spray for after shaving......I noticed a HUGE difference in the red bumps the very first time I used it.

FattyRella: about the bikini line area...One of my friends who is a "dancer" told me to use solid deodorant on the bikini area after shaving. It has helped TONS with the bumps!!

    Default Veet Mousse

How good is "pretty good"?? I ended up with just as much stubble after nair as I would have from shaving with a crappy razor. What did you get with Veet?

well girl, you can get waxed but yo have to let hair grow in first...bleh....

i think the right shaving cream makes a big difference. And a sharp razor....I use the Quattro or the VEnus..and mango shaving cream from trader joes..leaves my legs soft...

    Question A Good Shaving Alternative???

Ok, so I just tried Nair Ultimate trying to get a closer, longer lasting shave. It suggests leaving it on for 3 min, but not more than 10 min. I left it on for around 8 min and I could get a closer shave with a razor any day. Anyone got a better suggestion? A better cream, wax, or anything you've tried with good results?? I don't have dainty hair, by the way.
