    Yep thats a great workout. Anytime you dont use machines (that "help" you in small ways) your body works harder and you will feel the difference!

    Running the bleachers will give you GREAT results on your lower half!

    The same thing happen to me! I workout daily in the gym at least 60 minutes on the eliptical machine or treadmill. However, last Saturday I went to a parade and a pinic, but my firends and I walked at least 20 blocks or more. The next day I woke up and my butt and thighs were SO sore and they stayed that way for 2 days.

    4/17/08 (size 18/20 pants and XXL shirts): 220 (Started Phen)

    5/17/08-6/17/08 (2nd Month lost 8.4 pounds) 193.6
    6/17/08- 7/17/08 (3rd Month lost 7.6 ponds) 186

    Oh, yeah! Stairs ROCK when it comes to booty and thigh workouts.

    I work in a building with 16 floors, and twice a day, some co-workers and I will 'walk the stairs.' The first couple of times, I couldn't get up and down off the toilet without some help!

    Default Butt, hips, and thighs OH MY!

    Hope everyone has a great start to their week, and was able to fight the urge to splurge on the holiday and weekend!! Just wanted to share something.

    I have become bored at the gym, and the weather has been beautiful so I want to get outside. I live next door to a highschool so i decided to walk there and check out their track and go for a walk/jog. As I did 2 times and came to an end, I started to look at the bleachers and a light bulb popped up .How about running up and down the bleacher steps? So I got on the bleachers and ran up and down the stairs--- and that kicked by butt, literally!!! It was a great workout and really hit the spots that needed to be hit and toned. MUCH different than a stair machine, I felt it in different spots.
    Then when I finished that, I just used one bleacher as a step up and down, and that also worked great.

    This morning- i woke up and my hips, butt, and thighs are killing me!! i feel like it was the first time I worked out again.

    Just wanted to put this out there, i've lived next to this school for 4 years and never thought about using that to help me work out. It's nice for a change, and also can be great for anyone who can not access a gym!!
    Weight in 2003 : 190lbs
    After 10 months of phentermine : 137lbs
    After college ( lots of stress and fast food) : 164lbs
