    No crunches do not hurt - but when you first start doing them or pushing to do more you can feel it. It feels a little sore but that is GOOD! It means you did enough to get your muscles working hard!

    Good luck meeting your goal for you weigh-in. I know you will. I'm actually almost two pounds lighter (just didn't update my sig this morning). My weigh-in is on 7/17 and I'm hoping to be 176. I know that's not a lot but things are moving very slow for me.

    Now, the abs: I guess they're working. I hope so. LOL. The times before when I've tried the crunch thing I don't really feel anything. But last night I was looking at a site someone had posted that has tons of exercise movements (with video) and saw that I probably wasn't doing it right. So today I did it the way the guy did on the site. When doing it, I felt a little feeling (almost like a burning feeling but not a burning feeling - just like something is happening). I still feel like I'm on the bench doing crunches.

    Sorry I can't explain it better.

    congrats I had a post regarding belly fat and you are actually at the weight I am hoping to be to when I do my dr weigh in! I am currently 191 and my weigh in is 7-13-08... congrats and if you do not mind me asking how do you know your abs a re working! Are you feeling pain or discomfort? Im thinking about starting crunches and I nervous!

    Default Hehe! My stomach is working

    I know some of you will be like WTF is wrong with her, but earlier I went to the gym (as usual). Normally I don't do the little crunch rolly machine (LOL - don't know the name of it). But I felt extra hot this morning, and someone who rarely gives compliments gave me a compliment yesterday that really lifted my spirits. So I did tons of crunches on the crunch rolly bench! And about an hour and a half later, I still feel my stomach working like it's crunching! Yay!
