If he stops for one week what a difference he will see. He will look like those cartoon commercials for slim quick lol. I so miss my nightly unwind sips, but I have to do this.
It's crazy because I do drink on the weekend and I can so see how it affects my weight loss that week. Maybe if I just did it on Sat, instead of Fri, Sat, and Sun.
But since Iv been seeing the scale move I am motivated to do ditch the GGoose because I know that the scale wouldve moved so much better. Alcohol just makes me want to eat.
Hi and Welcome. I told my husband that too. He can't figure out why he is gaining weight. I try to tell him all those Amp drinks and beer won't do him any good. But he must not believe me because he's still drinking them. Good luck to you!

I am newly registered but have been reading these posts since I started on Phend (I am sorry but the phend forum is dead), on 6/12. I normally don't do forums, I really liked the support and encouragement that I found here. I have been reading these forums everyday ( I really do nothing at work) and I have gotten so much encouragement and advice from you all. Well I finally got my registration straight and I can't wait to join in. I started phend on 6/12 and as of today I am down 10 lbs. I am excited because I took it back in 01 and lost about 30 lbs but it all back on gradually after I had gall bladder surgery in 05. I have taken the meds off and on but they never seemed to work like they did before. I was mid twenties and I really don't remember big diet changes, it just fell off. Well now I realize I have to work at this. Diet and exercise and watching my alcohol intake. That was a biggie for me. I was drinking margaritas everynight and then I discovered alcohol has calories and I was drinking the highest calorie one of them all... This go round has been much different and I am looking forward to making some friends and getting/providing support. BTW I have gotten more support here reading posts than from my friends.
