I do those too... I really like this one lately though:
Balance on your tail bone, lift your legs but bend them at the knees... it looks like you are in a 'V" postion. Then lower your upper body a little and twist side to side....
it's like doing crunches and pointing your shoulder to the opposite side (right pointing to left, left pointing to right) but you are balancing on your tail bone!! AND HELL!!! It's a work out, but dang!!! NICE RESULTS!!!!

Oh yaaaa.... this is exactly what I do... along with holding the ball between feet and elevating as well (taught by my trainer in 2004). I also sit on the ball and do crunches... it's so awesome! So easy on your back...

Welcome!! I feel that Pilates is one of the best workouts to flatten your tummy. I do the DVD's that Daisy Fuentes sells, with Mari Windsor. I guess it is Windsor Pilates. But, if you only have a few minutes, try " the plank." Get into position to do a push-up, but instead of your hands on the floor, put your elbows down, right under your shoulders. Keep your tummy pulled in and your back straight. Try to stay totally parallel to the floor. Hold that for 30 seconds, or as long as you can, concentrating on pulling your belly button into your spine. It gives an instantly flatter tummy!! Good luck!!

some good ones i have been doing .. (taught by personal trainer) are 6 inches.. lay flat on ur back raise both of your feet 6 inches off the ground and hold them there w/o touching the floor for 10-15 secs .. repeat over as many times as u want... another thing basically same move.. except, lay on your back put ur feet/legs in the air straight up above you let your legs go down toward the floor (as if you were just lyin there) but dont let them touch the floor still keep them six inches off ground.. this takes alot of tummy control and ull def feel it!, another is the 6 in again but this time slightly move your legs up toward the sky/ceiling and then down toward the floor/ground alternating legs... of course crunches and stuff... i gots demos on my youtube profile lol.. if u wanna look i was bored one day i THINK its video 7.. i think.. its either 7 , 8, or 8 and 1/2 lol... its called "workout tips from me! can you believe it??" sooo anyways these are simple things you can do at home i need to make another video w/ other stuff ive learned!

    Default Good stomach workout suggestions?

Hi everyone nice to meet you all! I have been lurking around the boards and decided to say hello and explain my weight story and ask a few questions. I am 21 yrs old had a baby on March 1, 2007 (beautiful little boy ) born by c-section. My stomach really doesn't look that bad at all I think I may be able to get it flat again without getting cosmetic surgery. After I had him I got down to 140 before pregnancy I was 184 because of depo shot, I was working on losing weight when I found out I was pregnant lol. Well I am now 168 after a assistance from phentermine (this stuff helps me alot). I gained weight again after pregnancy because of problems with my kidney (in and out of the hospital) everything is better now and I have been walking to get excercise in. My question is what are some good stomach workouts? I have a little skin hanging over tummy that I feel can be lifted ( its really not hanging I'll post pic on request but its when I was 174) I want to add to my walking and need some abdominal workouts. Thanks for any answers in advance.
