I think scales fluctuate a lot throughout the day...or rather weight. Hope ur scale is better to you soon!

I was just going to make a post that is the complete opposite of this. I HATE HATE HATE scales!! I started phen a week ago. I lost 6 pounds on my own before starting, just giving up soda. So I started at 221. I hopped on the scale yesterday and was at 218. I was hoping for 5 pounds, but was happy with three. I told myself I would only weigh once a week, but it just called to me this morning, so I got on and 222!!!! WTF?? Like, I know I didn't gain 4 pounds in a day and I weighed myself three times yesterday to be sure, but damn it is frustrating. And I don't want to weigh myself at the Dr office, because they DO weigh heavy by about 3 pounds.

Congrats on your 9 pounds! That's awesome.

The first time I weighed I thought the same thing. I'm addicted though and I don't recommend that. I weigh every day! I'm Gina and I'm a scale addict. Seriously, good job and keep up the good work!

Whats funny (well to me anyway) is that a couple years ago I did Jenny Craig. I lost 9 the first week too and I always wondered if when they fisrt weighed me that maybe the scale was heavier? It just seemed so unlikely to lose that much in a week, water weight or otherwise. Now I kinda feel bad for doubting them LOL

Default Could not resist the call of the scale

I started last sunday and promised myself I would not weigh til my tight jeans were a bit looser. I could not resist this morning! LOL I lost 9.4!!!!!!!! Wooohooo! Wish it had made a difference in my tight jeans but oh well. I always lose from my behind and legs last. Maybe thats it? But I am glad I weighed. I have to work on Toronto the next couple days and this is the motivation I needed to eat right!
