    I never eat taters.

But one rule I have learned is no white at night.

That means. flour, bread, rice, whatever

As far as dieting.. I weighed 215lbs when I started and I had to make this as life changes. I had to stop what I was doing. I love taters..but I love skinny more!

Is there a calorie limit or just have the minimum # of servings recommended?

In my opinion, (and in the way I've begun to approach weight loss) is, we shouldn't diet at all. For me, I don't consider myself dieting. I eat what I want. If that includes a piece of chocolate then I'm not hiding that fact. I won't be ashamed anymore because I want to eat something. HOWEVER, I make sure to always include it in my calorie count and that way if I do have something out of the ordinary, I can cut back on something else. I don't feel deprived in the least. I've been working on my eating issues (in my mind) - if I fix that, the fat will take care of itself.

I'm happy to say that Phen helped push me in that direction and I am eternally grateful.

sweet potatoes are better than the white, I'm not sure on the red. I have to avoid potatoes, rice and breads all together to avoid my carb cravings. Anything white...potatoes, flour, sugar, bread etc is not good for the body in general.

So by white potatoes, I guess that I'm just not grasping this because I LOVE white potatoes, does that mean you can eat like baked red potatoes???
