Well, I try to stay active. I work out at least 3-4 times a week and run around and chase my daughter (that attributes to 3x workout as well). The only time I sit down is in the evenings. During the day I am constantly on the go doing something. If I have a bad day, then I make sure I don't beat myself up and get back with the program. *LOL* My main thing is realizing that when I say this one piece of cake wont hurt was not helping me (I did the same thing with cigarettes when I smoked "Oh, after this pack I'll quit") The main way for me though, is I remember the reason I am losing weight. That is my health, confidence, family and friends
*LOL* I know people get tired of hearing it, but drinking a lot of water is also a huge thing for me. I replaced most of my drinks with water. I dropped all of my soda drinking (if I do maybe 1 diet soda a week) and replaced it with tea sweetened with 8 calorie per teaspoon half sugar half sugar substitute mix (comes in a bag) for something sweet or water with lemon and the sugar mix. I know they say caffeine is bad, but I have not been able to give it up all together. I also do little things like leg lifts when I'm going to bed or sitting. If I can't get to exercising, I make sure I do something (clean house, mow lawn) to keep me motivated. I keep track of what I eat and eat 1200 calories a day.
