Default HELLLLPPP!!! I AM STUCK??!?!?!?!
I need help. It seems my body, or mind gets somewhere it likes, then just stops!! January 2007, I started WW, and lost 25 pounds, then plateaued. Doctor told me it was due to age, and that I just had to accept it!! I don't think so, early 30's, and everyone else around me at WW was way older, and having no probs.

I started to see the NP at the Dr's office this past January, and she recommened Phen for me, to help maybe with my habits, cuz maybe that is why I was stuck. I started that in Feb, and lost 30 lbs since. Well that 30 lbs was since 04/25/08. I haven't lost an ounce since then. I feel like I have lost some inches on my waist, but I think I am in a rut again.

What can I do to get back on the way of lbs???? Maybe my habits are going to the wayside??? I need some suggestions, please!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the latest posts and read BronzyBella's thread "Weigh-in Tips". She has lots of great advice on how to jumpstart your weight loss after hitting a plateau!

You could increasing the intensity and duration of your work-outs for a few weeks, that may give you a boost. Make sure you're burning more than you're taking in. Are you keeping a log of calories and exercise?

I workout with a church group through the week. Right now it is down to 3 days a week. All three days are a variety of strength training a cardio. I try to push myself differently each time, but maybe it is not enough. Now that the weather is nicer, I am going to try to get my hubby out for walks in evening (he needs it too), I have a hard time logging my calories, I drive a postal truck during the day, and (could call it lazy), will take something and not eat, or take something, and not remember what I ate. I know as far as total calories, fat, etc, I am not overloading. I know what all I am supposed to eat (sooooo many classes about nutrition that I have attended for diabetes). Maybe if I keep track, that may help.

Any suggestions on ways of keeping track of calories that is easier, than not? Like just total calories, or fat and sodium too?

www.thedailyplate.com has a REALLY easy calorie counter. Log in your food and thenif you don't end up eating it- delete it. This site has been a lifesaver for me. And it's FREE!

Sorry your doc is an idiot, plateau's are caused by your metabolism stalling not age,you need to eat a balanced diet to fuel your metabolism.
