Red face I need some advice, please!
I'm new to phen - just started taking it 4 days ago. I don't really feel like I've lost anything, but I'm trying not to weigh in until this Saturday (want to give myself a full week). I'm just wondering, what diet and exercise plans are you following?

My doctor said to eat a breakfast consisting of a bowl of cereal, a fruit juice and a piece of fruit, 2 pieces of toast or a bagel, and a yogurt or cottage cheese.

For lunch, he said do a lean cuisine or a turkey sandwich.

For dinner, he said to either skip dinner, or (if I must) eat a salad with low-fat, low-cal dressing.

For the most part, I've been following this. I'm not sure if I'm getting enough calories through out the day. I'm wondering how many calories I need. I've heard too few can be bad for weight loss.

Oh, also, I should mention that I hit the gym 4 or 5 times a week for 30 minutes on the ellyptical and strength training.

Any help or advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Track your calories at sparkpeople.com. it is free, and it will help you get an idea of how many calories a day you need to reach your goal weight in a safe amount of time. You must eat at least 1000 calories a day to loose anything, and, I think it more along the lines of 1200. it will come off, believe me, especially with hitting the gym. I do to, and I haven't lost the weight as fast as a couple of my friends who are taking it, but I have lost inches and toned up faster...they don't exercise at all. Keep up the hard work, it'll pay off in the end.

Fruit Juice? That's loaded with sugar which turns into FAT. I hope he mentioned a low calorie cereal with a the smallest gram of sugar and skim milk. That breakfast consist of way to many carbs, I have a bowl of special k cereal, fat free milk, a couple of strawberries and that's it for breakfast, lunch I have a pear and a protein bar, dinner rotessier chicken(no skin) and a veggie. Snack I have a cheese stick or south beach cookies(2). Are you sure he didn't mean choose one of those as your breakfast? Please move your question to My experience and I'm sure you'll get more feedback.

THATS WHAT MY DR HAS ME DOING AN IT WORKS.!!!!!
I TAKE MY PHEN @ 5:30am I GET DRESSED FOR WORK.. THEN AROUND 8:00am I EAT WHAT MY DR SAIS CERAL, PIECE OF FRUITE, 8oz OF JUICE, OATMEAL AND YOUGURT.. THEN FOR LUNCH I CAN HAVE A SMARTONE ANY ONE ALONGS THAT LINE AND A PIECE OF FRUITE... I DONT HAVE DINNER OR EAT AFTER 6PM... THIS WORKS WELL FOR ME.. THEN I DO 40 MINUTES OF CARDIO..

Now I can see how that may work. You are getting all of your carbs in the morning so that you'll be able to burn it throughout the day. Thanks Just call me Tan. Excellent weightloss by the way.

Good Info. I eat after 6 but i make sure its a protein/veggie.

Thank you all for your input. I think I just need a little patience. For now, I'm going to stay the course and see what happens. If at the end of the week I haven't lost anything, I may play with it a bit.

that's what I am waiting on the shots. Do you take the hcg injection too? How does the B!2 work for you?

Tan, do you take the Wellbutrin w/ Phen? I filled my prescription but haven't taken it yet. I wanted to see what it was like just to be on Phen. So far, I haven't really needed the Wellbutrin as an appetite suppressant but didn't know if I would eventually start taking it.
