Well.. let me first start by saying you are all doing great too! Thanks for the words
From August through January I cut my diet to 800 calories a day. I drank water (of course) and nothing else. Every 2 weeks I would give myself a cheat day on Saturday but I would not go over 1500 calories on my cheat day and right back on it on Sunday. Fruit for breakfast and a bottle of water. Apple around 10. Lunch I would have a salad with dressing on the side. Dip my fork into the dressing then into the salad so I could taste the dressing but my hips wouldnt see the calories! Dinner was always a lean cuisine or smart ones. Some of them arent bad! In January I went up to 1000 calories a day (that is where I still am). I still do the cheat but I have found that even on my cheat day I am eating very healthy. I love sherbert so that is a great dessert for me. The pushup sherbert pops at WalMart are only 80 calories each with 5 of them being from fat!! But I think the BIGGEST thing I have done for myself is this; In August I was a size 24. My clothes starting looking like crap on my so in Sept I went and bought some 22s then 20s. In December I was down to a 14 then a 12. In January I was a 10, now Im an 8 on my way to a 6. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THIS; THROW AWAY ALL YOUR FAT CLOTHES! Make a decision that you will NOT need them anymore and GET RID OF THEM!!!!!! They are a crutch! Go out and get a pair of size 8s (or whatever it is that you are wearing) and LOOK CUTE! Its a real rush to walk out of my classroom and hear a student say "Wow Miss YOU LOOK GREAT!" That is what keeps me going.
I know we cant afford new clothes every week, but once a month save up and get yourself a new outfit or two that FITS!
I did not exercise at all until last week. I am now at the gym after school for 40-50 minutes. I got a trainer for a one time deal. I do cardio then a little resistance training. I will eventually up all my times and levels but for now I am moving and not straining to breath! We can all do this!!!!
Size 6 here I come!
