HI Tyra! You've had great success so far! Everyone varies with the amount of weight they lose. My first month I think I only lost 10 pounds...Actually (and you can see below) I've only averaged about 2 pounds per week, the closer you get to your goal weight the slow the weight loss will be, which is what I'm experiencing myself right now, it's very frustrating! Did you take body measurements before you started to lose? If you didn't, you should do so now, this and your clothes will be the best judge of your loss.
Now people say you shouldn't weigh daily, everyone is different. Personally for me, the numbers on the scale moving down is a HUGE motivator for me!!! I do weigh daily. BUT, I also know how certain foods effect me and my body and about retaining water, blah, blah, blah! For my 1st two months I kept a food journal and wrote down EVERYTHING I put in my mouth. And I counted the calories. It was a huge help for me to see where my calories where coming from and to see that I WASN'T watching my portion sizes. Doing the food journal and being honest with myself was the best thing I could have ever done. And also knowing that this is a life change and once I reach my goals I can't just stop and go back to the way I was eating and not exercising.
I eat about 6 times a day....I find that it works best for me...I'm a muncher and so I munch heathly style. I still do eat chocolate everyday though

But I also try to exercise for an hour a day...most of what I do is cardio....I too do alot of walking and I strenght train 2-3 times a week. If you can up the walking to 45 mins a day if you have the time, that might make a difference and look at what you are eating too. You need to make sure you are eating at least 1200 per day and you really should eat at least 3 times a day...you wrte above that you eat 2-3 times a day...Even if you are eating 1200 calories per day...to only eat that twice throughout the day, your body will still go into starvation mood because you've let too much time go by between meals, your body could be holding on to the fat.
I try to eatc between 1200-1600 calories per day.
I hope some of this helps, no, I'm not a doctor, I just reasearch alot about this stuff...I want all the tools I can find to give me the knowledge to loss it and keep it off for life! If you like to read, a good book I just got the The YOU Diet By Dr. Oz....it's an Oprah recommended book and its a good one, I'm not finished reading it, but it's good stuff!
Good Luck to you, and I know you'll probably hate this, but we didn't put it on overnight, we ain't taking it off overnight either...it's true! You are doing wonderful, and you WILL get to your size 7, I have faith in you, you came this far
