Well most of you know what a Tummy Tuck is but What about a Pannilectomy Surgery? from my understanding a Panni surgery is the removal of excess skin, and fat; sounds similiar to the Tummy Tuck, but The tummy tuck also tightens the stomach muscles forever which depending on the doctor leaves the metal stitches in forever. Before I knew about the Panni, I asked so many doctors could they do a tummy tuck on me w/o the tightening of my muscles, (you see I did not want to think of these stitches in me forever and figured I could work on my own muscles I just need the fat and skin removed.)The doctors had no clue of what I was talking about, they said yeah we can do it but it will still be $8,000 because it is still a tummy tuck, now I knew this was not true, because when people pay for the tummy tuck they pay for the fact that they will always have tight muscles or a tight stomach, yet what I was asking for was the removal of skin and fat only. So finally I found my "hopefully" soon to be surgeon Dr. Saretsky whom I had known for a while, and he said " For the tummy tuck you will have to be under 190 pds." To be honest though I want to lose weight hey, if my stomach was not hanging so low I would be sexier than I am now So I repeated to him what I wanted and he said" There is a surgery called Panni surgery and you do not have to lose weight, it removes only the excess fat and skin that hangs. Well I was ecstatic because this is exactlyt what I am looking for,Only $4600. I am wondering, why didn't the other plastic surgeons recommend this to me,my explanation of what I wanted fits the definition of the Panni surgery to a T.? where they just trying to offer this high priced surgery "tummy tuck" to me for their own money motives? Obviously they have heard of the pain a obese person or any person has felt over not being able to afford something that they really felt they needed, why did they not offer me this alternative? If you had the choice would you choose the less invasive Panni surgery ( removal of fat/skin and the washboard is dependant on you) or the Intrusive Tummy Tuck ( forever washboard abs)
