Hi! My name is Denise and I just started Phen today. My question is this. I eat very healthy and exercise 5 days a week. I wasn't losing any weight (had a baby 8 months ago and gained 50 pounds). My dr prescribed this and said to give it a try. I don't have a problem with my appetite or anything. I know this is an appetite suppresant but does it do anything else? Have any of you experienced my problem where you were eating healthy/exercising and couldn't lose weight and then this helped? If all it does is suppress my appetite I don't need it. My dr said I have a very healthy diet and am at the perfect amount of calories and to continue to exercise (step aerobics 45 minutes 5x's a week). I'm afraid this isn't going to do anything and that I'll be stuck weighing 220 pounds forever and that nothing will help me. I'm sorry I sound paranoid but I'm confused why I can't lose weight and am scared because I have a healthy life style but can't lose weight. Do you think the Phen will help me lose weight? By the way, I had complete bloodwork done and there's nothing wrong with me.

I understand what you are talking about. I've been a medical mistery for the last year. I've been on the tredmil, and cut my portions in half, and still, no weight or inches came off my body. I know that the phen helps with water retention and your metabolism, because it speeds up your heartrate, but so should have your aerobics. This is my second time around. I lost 40 pounds 3 years ago, and kept it off for a year, but I quit smoking, and began eating what I wanted. BIG MISTAKE! All my tests came back negative too, including my blood sugar and thyroid. I'm not sure what could be going on with you. I ate alot of sugar, and you don't.
