Just so military soldiers and their families will know:

Only two years of VA Healthcare will be provided. It starts the day of separation from service. If the veteran does not have a service connected disability approved, before the end of the two years, the health care ceases.

And, another note:

If the service member has been treated while in the military, be sure to keep a copy of medical records.

One more good thing, if you are service connected 30% or more you qualify for Vocational Rehabilitation..The Va will pay for you to go back to college, everything paid for, including books, childcare and even if you need a PC to do your homework and intop of that you will receive an incentive more or less $600 a month additional a month just for going back to school.
