I know you are, MJ. I was really hoping it wouldn't come to this. I pray it will be over with soon and without loss of innocent life. We have to trust that the powers that be will do everything in their power to protect our men and women and the innocent people of Iraq.

There are several people on here who have relatives or friends already over there or being deployed. I wonder if we could start a list of those folks or something so they can know we're thinking about them.

I know Lane's son leaves tomorrow night.
Didn't Stacygirl's brother leave out?

Can we think of anyone else?

i think that is a good idea...despite our differences (not just you and me) regarding this war...I support our troops, and want to support them in anyway that I can. It is all just so overwhelming...i am going to keep my opinoin out of it for now...I just want this to not happen...but since it is, I want it over

I am having a hard time believing it also. I don't think war is the answer but I know something has to be done and I also feel that the president of our country is doing the best that he can. I'm sure he is getting alot of flank in regards to his father's mistakes.
There will probably be no turning back now and all we can do is pray that this will be over very soon without lives' lost.

I have a very close friend in Nashville who's fiance was sent to Kuwait 2 weeks ago.
