Its my day off and watching tv, they just showed the plane crash into the trade center, then while showing the footage another plane flew into the other tower. This must be a teroist attack. This is so sad, they don't know how many people are dead. They are right now saying the planes were hijaked and purposely flown into the buildings.

I'm glad we have a NEWS channel in the forum! I would not know what goes on in the world unless some one posted about it! I'm going to go see if I remember how to turn the TV on. Oh ... wait a minute ... I can go to CNN online

I can see the smoke from where I live. One of the towers has colapsed. The Pentagon got bombed. All of DC is being evacuted. You can't get in and out of NY. No Air traffic today. They think another bomb went off in DC because they see smoke.

One of the planes that flew into 1 of the towers was an AA 737 that had been high-jacked, and it had passengers on it.

I'm watching all of this on local news. It's UNREAL! People where jumping or falling out of the Towers. They had a camera on the one Tower when it collapsed. You couldn't really see it but you heard this loud noise and saw a puff of smoke.

Robin they say there is another plane flying around that got hijaked, they don't know where it is> Bush is in FLA, flew out a while ago. 60 people on one plane and 90 on another, those poor people, this is devastating.

trmmon, Both world trade center buildings have collapsed after each having a plane flown into them, then the Pentagon was attacked by plane all this happend within 1 hour, white house evacuated, all airports closed, although they say there is another 1 or 2 planes that were hijaked. This is awful. So many people died today. Obviously they are warning all americans to be careful abroad. I am from UK and my family is watching it on tv over there now, so you should be able to see it on tv.

I wouldn't say this is happening because George W. is president. Not at all. I'm scared to think of who is behind this. Is it from another country? Like the bombing at the World Trade Center in 1993? Or is it a militia group within the United States -- something similar to what Timothy McVeigh was a part of? When is Terry Nichols supposed to be going to trial again? Wasn't this coming up soon?

Yikes! I suppose they don't want to give out much more in details about what is going on. We just have a radio here at work to hear details -- and it is a distance away from me. Since most of the online news stations are down, it's hard to get ANY info. Scary.

My fear is that if this is a terrorist attack from outside of the US... well, I work at the Trade Center in Hutchinson, KS. It isn't federal building, but if you weren't from the US, how would you know??
