This is unbelievable.
I can not stop crying and asking God to please help these pepple and thier families.
I dont see how anyone would want to do something so terrible.

ROBIN, DO YOU KNOW IF MOONY'S OK??????
I dont know what airline she works for and I was worried about her.

I'm wondering if the public schools in NY, NJ, PA, anywhere for that matter, are going to send the kids home today??? If one more plane or bomb goes off, I'm going to go get my kid!

I first thought that Moony would be sent home today because of working at SouthWest, but she isn't at the airport ... I don't think. And now that I think about it, she will probably be at her job all day because she works in the customer service phone call department and there will be MANY phone calls.

My prayers go out to all that was affected by this horror. We will all forever be reminded of the many lives that were taken in this event by the many different news coverage that will be posted over and over again on our TV sets and radios. As we as human beings want to have answers to Why this could have happened and who could be at fault, I hope that we as GOD fearing people pull together and pray for the lost souls, and they're families as well as our own. NO this was not because of BUSH or his office. This was an act of hateful people doing down right horrific things for what they thought were to be right in their simple minds. I pray that God have mercy on their souls, because I know that we will as a whole will pull together for the famlies that have lost someone. We cannot go back in time but we can change our future. We will all come to a time in life when we will pass but we can take this time and choose where we will go! All this takes is a minute of your time to ask God to come in,and acknowledge that He gave His son to walk this earth and to shed His blood for our sins that all men that asks for salvation shall receive. You'll forever be blessed.

Sept 11 is when the Camp David Accord was signed in the 70s...I bet that is the reason for today's attack.

What did we do this time to piss someone off? The news reports are saying that who ever did this is highly skilled and it must be a majorly smart operation group

Why would you destroy the Trade Centers and crash planes? Why don't the "terrorist" go after the CIA, FBI, and the White House? Why don't they crash the planes into military bases? How did some "group" get a hold of 4 US planes?

Didn't our government contact the Palestinian terrorist group and ask them if they did this and they said no? I didn't know we had their phone number.

I just don't get it!

Hmmm, the camp david thing is a possibility. I thought the news report said the plane that crashed there was forced down by our military. I pulled this off of the BBC website:

" The Camp David accord between Israel and Egypt, witnessed by Jimmy Carter at the president's Maryland retreat on 17 September, 1978, spoke of "a new era of reconciliation in the Middle East". It marked the first peace agreement reached between Israel and one of her hostile Arab neighbours. "

This is NOT something that should just be "taken to court" and forgotten like the last guy that bombed the trade center......

I think they view the military are acceptable casualties, at least to these people. Their mind-set is that their military gain honor by giving their lives (like Klingons in Star Trek). With that in mind you can understand that killing our troops, in their eyes is not effective or alarming. These troops are expected to give their lives. But to kill and maime civilians, they know that is outrageous. That is our heart. Plus it makes us all fear. Fear is their power. They want us all over America to think it could happen to us. Not just those in military bases and federal offices.

They just reported that Bush is in Louisiana now. I hope they aren't foolish enough to give his actual location!

What do terrorist want??? Do they just want to scare the civilian people? So if they scare us and crash some planes into "money" buildings, won't our government take action and then the dumba** terrorist will have wished they had crashed the planes into military bases so we don't come after them?

I guess terrorist aren't afraid to die???

You know what doesn't make sense ... not that any of this does, but this one thing is odd

What about that plane that crashed at or near that small airport in PA?

There were 4 planes:
2 hit the Towers
1 hits DC
1 hits PA?????

What was in PA?

I think something went wrong with their little plan and that plane went down where it wasn't supposed to.

911 had a phone call from that plane before it went down. People on the plane knew something was going on. Some "expert" person said that no pilot would let a terrorist take over a plane without a fight...

When I heard about the plane down in PA, I figured maybe the actual pilot put up a fight, turned around before he got shot in the back of the head, or something, and dived the plane down himself, knowing death was inevitable... this is really awful.

My husband called and woke me up with the news, I have been shaking ever since. Prayers do go out continuously, let our prayers be never ceasing. Debalexis, your post was beautiful and to the heart of it all... if any of you skipped it, please go back and read it.
