Whaddayathink? So far, I like it, I guess, kind of weird. I like that they started it off with Bruce Springstein, the coolest dude ever to come out of New Jersey. But, gee, Tom Petty has grey streaks in his beard. Now that's depressing...Neil Young singing John Lennon--also going grey....

I dragged my butt into the city that never sleeps (like my puppy who never sleeps) in order to not get fired from my job at The Greatest Hospital in NYC, oh so close to GROUND ZERO. And, I stared at the missing person signs. No one has the heart to take them down, I guess.

Did anyone see "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"? One of my fav shows. He was crying & his hands shook. He said something great, though...he said that his apartment window view was of the World Trade Center Towers & now they're gone, and guess what he sees now, now that the Towers are gone, with all those people trapped inside? He sees The Statue of Liberty.

I watched it and I thought it was very well put together and comforting..However DIRECTLY after the telethon ended the ABC news came on and the first thing they said was " Congress fears the attacks on America are not over and may result in a water contamination, biological warfare, or nuclear attacks" WHO SAYS THAT??????? There must have been millions of people watching. HOW scary and how unappropriate to say seconds after the telethon ends! Just my opinion, the media stinks! Be safe everyone!

I watched and tried to get in to donate my money, but the circuits were busy and the web site was too full. So I guess that is good news. I did think it was kind of weird, the actors and actresses looked so uncomfortable reading the teleprompter. The only person who looked and sounded like he was saying what was in his heart was Muhammed Ali(sp) God bless that man, I think it took incrediable strength for him to be there. I am not a big Julia Roberts fan but she did seem very sincere also. I guess they probably were uncomfortable and they are not used to being live so there ya go huh? I do applaud them for their efforts, I think it was a wonderful idea and I am sure they raised a ton of money. We will see huh?

The stories made me cry though, but you know these days what doesn't?

I am thinking of you all today, KC I didn't hear that message from ABC thank goodness I was watching FOX, you are right that is just stupid fear broadcasting, what the heck were they thinking. MEDIA plughghghghgh!!!!!!
