It just amazes me how songs I hear now on the radio seem to relate so much to real life events. I don't know if I just never noticed it before or what, but I sit here & listen to the radio and the music is so comforting for me. And is there any better song than "Proud to be an American..."?? That song makes me feel so good inside.

Proud to be an American is one of my favorites. Last year I spent six months in Korea (not military) and on my last flight home, I sang that song to myself the whole way home. It was so natural, I didn't even realize I was doing it, and then I couldn't stop.
