Well I think it's easy for Margaret Thatcher to stand up & say "what she would do"...only because the event wasn't directly relating to her back then. She didn't have to deal with the consequences of her actions. It's kind of like watching your best friend in a bad relationship with a guy you know isn't good for her---but try to tell her the right thing to do & she won't listen. She's too caught up in the relationship to be able to see things clearly.

I know a lot of people are saying President Bush seemed shaken up all day on Sept 11. That he didn't step into the leadership role until Wednesday. You know what though...I think it shows how human he is & that he was in shock like the rest of us & it took him a little time to take it all in. I hope we never reach a place where suicide missions are a given.......kind of like school shootings are starting to be commonplace. It's a tragedy & one I hope no one ever has to experience it again.
